The whole 2012 thing some may laugh at. But we are damaging our earth greatly..and in recent times even more so. All the war..and natural disaster, this could be just the beginning. My question is if the government new of a disaster that was going to wipe us out for good would you want to know? Would you want to say your last goodbyes? Try to mark some things off of your what I want to do in life list. Do you think that knowing would cause major panic and make things even worse? Just curious would you want to know?

No, because I would then regret the things I would not be able to do ... almost as much as I regret the things I SHOULD NOW be able to do because of the-- blaming, maybe it's how I deal with regret ... painful, painful regret. If I knew exactly how long I had--and that it was not long enough to 'say all my goodbyes' etc.--I would be carrying that regret to all the 'goodbyes' I COULD say. True, maybe I STILL couldn't say them all if I didn't know how long I had; but the goodbyes I COULD say would be given without the heavy baggage of regret!

Do you think you would appreciate more the time you had left and cherish every moment?

I'd try, but all that time would be adulterated with resentment over all the moments I would never have.

Yes I'd want to know because immediately after I'd quit my job and spend the rest of the time doing the things I want to do and being with my family.

Yes that would be nice. But if the whole world knew do you think you would be able to spend time with family and do the things you want just like normal?

I think if that were the case all families would come together to be together during the final hours. Maybe they would go to one area like a hotel ball room and have a big family reunion to enjoy the final hours together.

The whole 2012 thing isn't even right to begin with if people do their research the mayan calendar actually ends on October 28th, 2011 AND according to the mayan calendar we should be in the month of August right now. My aunt and I were talking about this just this morning and I was saying that we need to get a hold of as many different types of bibles as we can and go through and find the parts that are the same and go by that rather than wondering which is the truth and with is fiction. I have family in the Army and we have been warned to start stocking up now because something big is going to happen. It has to do with the war in Libya but we don't know what is going to happen.

As the Bible so states, the end of the world will come like a thief in the night. I think it is better not to know for surely it will kill many in fear even before the exact day comes and even if we want to know God designed it not to be known at all for it will come at the time we least expect it to happen. So we would not know when the end of the world will come but would it be better to know rather how to survive the end should it come. I've read this article and I am fully convinced there is a way to "survive" the end of the world. If you care to know here is the link http://relijournal.com/christianity/how-to-survive-the-end-of-the-world/

Yes. I would probably want to know about it. Why? so that I can prepare myself, I can repent. I can change, I can also say sorry to those I have hurt.

No,I wopuldn't want to know because I don't think I would be capable of doing anything if I knew when the end would come.I think the thought that the end is coming and we are doomed without any escape would simply paralyze me,so I prefer not to know when it will come and I'm pretty sure it's still far away in time, but I am sure of one thing:no one can tell when that day will come,I don't trust any prediction,so I'm not worried about 2012.It will come, but until then I guess the human race will move somewhere elase in the universe.

Hi Natnickeep, I never say goodbye to my loved ones without telling them that they are loved and pray for protection for them everyday but if I knew the world was going to end I would actually want to be with them to hold them in those final moments. I think yes people would panic but like with the elderly couple in the film Titanic who just lay in each others arms accepting what was about to happen rather than panic and fight against it would also happen a lot too. People used to laugh at me as I have what I call a provisions cupboard for emergencies, this includes dried egg powder, milk powder, dried potato, tinned goods, candles and also water purification tablets as well as other suvival products but in the light of recent events I don't think so many will laugh now. huggles. I think that it would cause major panic. There is already people panicking now, who believe the world will end. I believe it will, but I guess I don't believe wholeheartedly because while I have regrets, I am not really panicking, I just get depressed about it. I would want to know so that I could say things and do things that I hadn't done, that I wanted to do. So that I could think more clearly, enjoy more things. We are destroying our planet with all the pollution, besides the wars going on, just the factories we use to function on a day to day basis is causing havoc on our environment. It may be that in a few years time, if our world has not ended, it may be that it's not fit to live in anymore. I've seen the movie 2012 and it puts a different aspect on what will happen, it shows the panic and the greed, I hope if the world does end, while there will be panic, I hope greed will not happen, that people will open their arms to one another and sing, rejoice, love and conquer evil and fear.

I don't think that i would honestly want to know if the end of the world was about to come. If i knew in advance I would just be obsessing on that moment instead of enjoying the life there was left for me to live. I would rather take it one day at a time where there would always be hope for a better tomorrow.

hi natnickeep, I will go to travel, i don't want to miss all the beautiful landscape, and make my dream come true. And of course, i will spend all of time with my family and friends at last. Life is just a travel, i hope everyone will be happy at the last minute. I wanna know who or what will live and be a new master in this world, and after the disaster, what about this world.

No, i wouldn't want to know when it's going to happen. I've got my life planned up and i think knowing about it wouldn't make a difference. I'll be totally cool.Maybe a temporary panic for split second but no major impact.

my teacher always say's that 2012 might be true. Libya on war, Japan's 8.9 earthquake and Tsunami, Bahrain on protest. so if it was the end of the world, i would like to know if my friends, family, people around me(Community), Love's or Hate's me. so that i wont regret all the thing's i did in this world.

i would definitely want to know. it would be very hard to accept this reality because surely it will mark our end but if we knew it is coming, we could be better yet prepared i guess. but the truth is, we should always be ready or prepared on what will happen. it is true that it is so hard to anticipate of what the future can bring but we should take life everyday as something that will eventually end at any time. so we should probably live life like there is no more tomorrow in the right sense if you know what i mean. =)

Yes, I'd want to know. If the whole world know the news, there may be disorder at the begging, which exists with the civilization all the time. With the passage of time people will get indifferent.

Yes I would really want to know if the world is ending. I will get all the money I have in the bank, spend it with families and friends. Help others and do the things that I have not done yet. I will ask forgiveness to the people whom I have hurt and make sure I let the people I love know that they are important to me :)

Yes, I will panic, but I would still want to know. I mean... I want to know what I can do before I die, right? I'll most probably make a to-do list. Or something similar to that. Have some mental preparation, say my goodbyes, accomplish stuffs that I want to accomplish in life. Buy everything I ever wanted to buy... and this goes on and on. I believe the ultimate one would be... everyone would start giving up on their lives, OR just start living to the fullest until the day comes.

the whole world is going to end in the 2012. but y we should think of that and waste our time is the main question. till we can survive we ll enjoy the life.
