The scenario: (lunch break) After eating 3 or four spoons (I think), I removed one peppercorn on my food. Well, what I love is the finely ground pepper so I removed it. Then, I saw another one. But it's kinda different. It has, uuum, legs?? and wings??!!! What????!!! WTF??! There's a FLY on my food??????????????!!!! So that's it! I wasted 35 bucks for a fly. ...and I ended up HUNGRY. I WILL NOT BUY ANY FOOD ANYMORE from THAT eatery. Why they can't make it clean?

Better than chewing a cockroach I think...LOL...eateries should always keep their places clean and they need to make sure that the food that they serve is clean too...

Hello abnil. Boy if I had paid 35 Dollars for a meal and found a fly in it I would have let the manager or owner know about it and demanded my money back. I would not have taken another meal as replacement from there either. If I'm having a meal out in the woods and found a fly in my food that would be different but paying &35 for a meal I expect the bugs to be kept out of the kitchen.

Yes well taking the meal out of the restaurant does make a difference.

Well. thanks God it's not in dollars. I just wish I could have returned it to them. But I took it out so I have something to eat by lunch time. And I never knew I would be hungrier because of that fly.

Ewe!! This is grouse. There is no way I could have ate that food either. There is no way I would have ever paid for it, and would have had to complain to where if I had paid in advance I would either get a refund or New food making sure it did not have the same problems. I would also be telling others about my experience to be sure that none of my friends wanted to frequent that place anymore for sure.

Super eeew.... If only I had a chance to do all those like asking for refund and new food, I would. But the eatery was almost an hour ride from my workplace. So I just let it pass my anger.

It's your first time here and you don't know how to type? Or should I decode your message? A trial comment maybe?

I am not sure whether I am understanding this correctly A fly is meat right? Therefore a meat dish should be expensive right? Therefore yuo got a cheap meal right? Of course had been stuffed it might have cost more but... If that had happened in a restaurant here you would have had the price of your meal refunded. You could have warned the owner that you were going to call in the local hygiene office too. No way should you have PAID for that meal - and that is even more disgusting than finding what you found where you found it!

For me, a fly is disgusting. Well, I just pointed the food there on the eatery then told them it's for take out. So I didn't see whether there is a the fly on the food. Also, didn't I check it out. If only that eatery was a few minutes away from my work, I will definitely complain and get the refund of it. But it's almost an hour ride going there. So, I just threw it away and forget about it.

Gosh that is terrible! I don't blame you for not wanting to eat from there again. I once was at a really nice restaurant where it was so busy that finally I received my food. Immediately after stirring it I found a small black hair. I immediately looked it engrossed. I called the waitress over and told her that I could not eat my food because it had a hair in it. She looked at me and said how did she know it was not mine, well that was a silly question indeed. I am blond silly! Anyways I refused for them to remake my food because I was completely grossed out. So I certainly would not have eaten the one you had with the fly. eek!

That waitress was funny. How could she ask you if it's obvious that you're blond? Guess she's making excuses for that.

Nice laugh... Well, I don't see any resemblance between a cockroach and garlic.
