Hello fellow lotters,
Allow me to scribble the what happened to my day here... I hope you won't get mad at me for doing this, now mylot has become like a diary to me now.
Well, I started a great day today. Full of hope, with a lot of faith. God has been so good in my life. Even in the darkest moment in my life God is there for me. In the morning I was so busy with a lot of things to do, everything, deposits, checks, vouchers, reconciliations, calls, return calls, etc. I was too occupied with my job. A busy routinary work.
Afternoon, just passed by unnoticed, I was surprised when I saw my PC's clock showed 6:33 pm. Wow! It's time to go home! I was excited to go home and have my dinner and take a rest.
When I get home, my sister has already cooked the dinner, I can devour what ever I want to. Then a text message from my other sister came, "Kuya (Big bro in english), I feel so weak, I don't know, I want to have a general check up. We went to the doctor today, but they still have no findings. I feel that the medicines are not doing me any good..."
Then I replied, "eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, drink milk every so often, get a lot of rest and sleep, don't stay late okay? take care of your body, i'll call mom later."
The phone rings, it was my elder sister "hello?" i answered. "I would like to tell you about cha (my sis who's sick) she's very weak, and I am afraid she's getting worse, the meds are not getting her better. What shall we do? Shall we wait till it's all too late?" She blurted. "Call home now, make a conference call, I'll talk to mom" I told my sis.
Then she called mom, we were in a conference call, and I told mom to bring my sis to the hospital, or maybe refer to other doctors for second opinion. My mom presented to me the whole case, and I just realize, how much mom sacrificed for my sis. My sis is a little stubborn though, she always stay late, and went going out when she have to get a lot of rest.
I don't want to scold my sis, but I don't want her neglecting her health every now and then and later on ask me to spend some bucks for her medication. But I just can't tell her that. I just said to mom, give the phone to cha I'll talk to her a sec. Then here's what I said "Gang, please listen to whatever mom tells you to do, listen to her and obey her okay? Please cooperate with your body, it's weak so don't tire it so much with a lot of activities. Eat plenty of vegetables and drink milk.Get enough rest or more rest every day."
Wow, this is a long day. My mom went reporting everything going on in our home back in the province. I wish I could divide myself into two that I could be here and there at the same time. But I just can't.
I am thankful that my mom is ever loving. She just cry secretly in the corner when she's so fed up with my siblings. She can't keep nagging or screaming at my siblings because they're old enough. They're already in college. I listened to about 30 minutes report of my mom about everything, and just told her no matter what happens, she should always remember that we all LOVE her. And that we are thankful for her.
Guys, I commend my mom for the sacrificial efforts, she raised us all even when my dad passed away back when I was still in highschool. She made my elder sister, me and my younger sister graduate in college, all in her efforts and by God's grace. It's just amazing how she managed to bear the pains. She's an amazing mom. Life is tough but God is tougher, and that's why mom survived.
I wish one day will come that I could at the very least say to mom, "Don't worry about the expenses, it's all on me."
Today, I am ending this full of hope and faith again. That a breakthrough will come in my life. And that my sister will be healed. GOD is mighty than any illness in this world. And He is mightier than any crisis in this life. He is tougher than life.
Thanks for reading lotters. :)

That's wonderful. You have an amazing mom. I hope she knows that you are an amazing kid (not a kid anymore, but you know what I mean). Sometimes God is all I can cling to when it looks like I'll never get better. I'm better off with Him than anyone else though, right? : )

Aight! I strongly agree with you, when all seems to be so messed up, we still have God to cling on to Him. And yeah, I have an amazing mom. I know she loves us all so much. :) And I am blessed to have her.

Your mother sounds like a wonderful person, she is the way that I honestly believe that all mothers should be. I do feel bad for you though that you feel so split in your life. I hope that your sister starts to get well soon and also that she will start to take care of herself a little bit better. I think there are too many times that people don't worry enough about their health and that leads to undesirable side effects.

My mom is really a wonderful mom. Thank you for wishing my sister well, just yesterday, she was brought to the hospital, she's confined there because her hemoglobin and platelets count decreased from last week's laboratory test. Please pray for her my friend. Thank you.

I will be Praying for your sister and her situation and hope she can get to a Doctor or start feeling better soon.

Well, that has been a very tiring day. Well, that is quite tough because it seems that as the guy, they all depend on you. I also remember my brother in your case.
Keep the faith, as you said God will always be there for you and your family. He is everything.
