In my opinion, no matter how hard it is to tell the truth, we should. Lie is always a wrong thing even if it is a white or whatever color it is, it's still a BIG LIE. Well, me, I have been taking care of my integrity. It is really hard for me to tell lies because I know that it doesn't bring any good to me.

My personal opinion is that it is always best to tell the truth no matter what. I find that even lying to protect the person later will not result in a good deed. Because if the lie is discovered later it becomes a bigger issue because the person will no longer concentrate on the reason why it was covered but more that they were lied to.

Hi,i think what you mean here is is it good to say white lie? i think yes, it is better to say white lie when the truth will hurt others very much. If the truth can only bring harm to others, while we should be so honest? i think it is better to bury the truth in one's heart.

I think that there are some times that it is best to shy away from the truth. However, I wouldn't say that it is good to not tell the truth to someone. By saying this I mean that it is okay to make a lie of omission, however, I can't tell a person a lie to their face. By doing this you aren't hurting someone because you didn't directly tell them a lie and you aren't hurting yourself because you have not damaged your integrity.

hi friend, I think I would rather be on the side of truth cause truth will always self adjust and right itself no matter how it hurts sometimes, whereas untruth or a lie will always stay as it is simply a lie and very hard to correct sometimes

I beg to disagree. Truth will set us free. Even though the truth hurts, it is a must to confess it.You cannot correct something if you will not tell the truth. Both of you will benefit from it, you cannot buy peace of mind.Besides, I don't want to be stupid if I'll be the only one not knowing the truth and everybody else does.

Well, for the most part it is always better to tell the Truth about something from the start because if you don't you will eventually get caught in your lie, and then wonder what you told each person from the start as well. In some cases there could be instances where it is hard to hurt someone's feelings but if it is someone you are going to be around all the time do not lead them on until one day you explode to where you wonder why you chose to hold onto it so long.

I don´t think that telling "all the truth" is necesarilly a good prctice. Sometimes it only hurts the other person and nothing good is gained from that. We must try to have the wisdom as what to tell and what not to tell. I´m talking more about omiting telling something instead of saying a lie.

I agree with you that sometimes we need to tell lies. For me, it is according to whom we tell and what will we tell. I, myself, prefer to be told the truth. Moreover, by my love ones. Honesty is important for me. I think, when someone decide to lie, there must be reasons behind it. Everything happens for a reason.
