I actually prefer the stuff from REM that is even earlier than this. I remember when this album came out, I was thinking that I did not like it as much as their earlier stuff from the 80's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AKycxKtHLo This is the song that first got me into the band. I could watch the first one and it's ace, I agree but on the second I got a message, "Malformed video ID" so it wouldn't play!

Hello Janey1966, I love this song so much and today i've played this song for more than 50 times. Yes, the tune is nice but actually this represent what i feel inside. I guess Im just lost for a moment, still try to get back myself and this song is my companion. it is sad REM has ended up their band but to me "Losing My Religion" is the best REM's song that I've ever heard.

Now, I've heard/listened to REM for...forever. But I haven't seen that video and didn't care for it at all. It put an interpretation on the song that I'd never envisioned when I heard the song. I still like the song, but the video...no.

I agree, it's not to everyone's taste. REM are such a great band though. In fact, I have heard that their latest offering is really good.
