MyLot is an addictive website and should be banned immediately?

MyLot is an addictive site. Its members spend more time talking to people they don't know than their own families. Signs of addiction are : being with your family and wondering how the mylotters are doing, wanting to be on-line when you wake up and not going to bed until way too late because you cannot get off the site. Therefore it should be banned immediately otherwise it will be cited in several divorce cases as the site that caused the break-up of relationships. ~Discuss ;-)

MyLot is an addictive website and is fun to use but people are not ignoring or spending less time with their families. People that complain about this site being addictive and causing problems with relationships should not be on here to begin with.

I am actually NOT complaining at all. I am an addict and really like it, just wanted to know if other people sometimes feel that they are getting ever so slightly addicted. God forbid that the website should close. I want to start a debate!

I am addicted to it as well though I am not on here all day. I do go and do other things with family and friends as well as my regular activities and work. This is a fun site and am glad they are doing something about the silly questions out there and people repeating questions.

me too. I sometimes have a wry sense of humour and would like people to actually start some good discussions. Thought that by being deliberately provocative that might happen - looks like you are the only one who took the bait!!

I love it too. I also think it can be addictive. I guess we all have to learn to deal with our own addictions in our own ways. I certainly do not think banning anything is a good idea, but just wanted to start a bit of a discussion

Yes, it's addictive. It shouldn't be banned but it should be regulated or work productivity worldwide will plummet. Maybe we should get political candidates to come on Mylot and answer our questions tell us where they stand-- Coke or Pepsi? Juice or soda? Britney or Lindsay? You know, all the important stuff, LOL...

Thanks, I think that would be a great idea. We can have a poll on MyLot first, and whichever political candidates agrees with the majority of Mylot contributors wins!. We might get some very interesting leaders then - not just in US,but also in UK I hope.!! :)

Then why are you on here?

I did not say I necessarily agreed with the statement, but asked people to discuss it.

Yes I do think this site can be addictive. I was even banned from this site. But I have returned once again. And I am here to get my money. Like Flynn said: "They never should've gotten rid of me! lol

MyLot is brilliant and I have become addicted to good discussions but the addiction fades when I have to wade through the one liners. I won't be citing MyLot in a divorce case as, because I don't talk to my husband as much, our marriage has improved.
