I consider my being student as a work because it requires a lot of responsibilities same with work/job. Actually, being a student is really a hard work. It requires you to study, and to give inputs. Also, it is your responsibility to finish your studies. It is part of being a student to make your parents proud of you same as working as you would want to make your boss proud of you.

well as a student I'm in class making ductwork for houses and its a pretty stressful thing. you got to watch your hands and fingers at all times or youll get a nasty cut by the sheet metal or worse then you have to make your cuts right or the teacher WILL go down your teeth and plus you have to finsh in a timely fashion or youll fall behind and get a low grade so its not only work we students do jobs too but we pay for them to train us :) lol

how i wish all callers are as gentleman as you are well,it's not all the time callers are irate,i can not blame irate callers, sometimes customer rep made them irate and too bad for the next care rep who handles such call. but we are used to it,good thing is,most callers knows how to say sorry and apologies after venting out.

Hi Dear Acey! I am a Resident Stud Vet. That is a veterinarian working on Stud Farm and staying on the farm to attend cases all round the clock! We actually breed the race horses, the Thoroughbred and rear them till two years of age and then we sell them to various clients so that they can race them at Race Course! My job involves looking after the brood mares, babies, youngsters and the stallions. I need to look after the technical side involving the breeding like monitoring the eggs of the female horses before covering them ,then after cover to verify the ovulation. There after we confirm he pregnancy and monitor the pregnancy till the mare gives birth to the foal! Meanwhile we check for twins and eliminate one, as twins are not viable in horses. we use Ultra Sound Scanner for all these operations on daily basis. Once the young one is born we need to look after the baby till it grows up to six months in a different manner till the baby is separated from mother. The the youngsters have different routine where we look after their health and introduce them to mild exercise. Thus I need to look after the treatment part, vaccination part, De worming part, Nutrition part and exercise part of all the horses on the farm. Apart from the routine we have accidents some times on the farm which needs special attention. And there are other non infectious conditions which require emergency treatments ,are also to be looked after by me! Over all you can say I have to look after the horses in the capacity of a Gynaecologist, physician, surgeon, nutritionist, Geneticist and breeder and over all manager of the horses! This is an challenging job and I lead the team with another three Vets helping me presently! I like my profession though it is very tedious and tiring! I enjoy the moments when I see my horses excelling on the track! Thanks for the discussion!

I am a crew at a subway restaurant and I make custom made sandwiches/subs or salads. i also clean the restaurant. I'm also the busboy, pretty much everything in the restaurant from mopping, preparing the vegetables, wiping, customer service, taking calls, taking orders, but it is pretty easy. I just realized that I do a lot of things at work now that you made me think about it. hmmmmm. throw the trash, clean dirty dishes, arrange chips and bottled drinks, bake bread, do the register, make subs, wipe, cut up vegetables, mop the floors, sweep, and prepare the restaurant for the next person tomorrow. maybe that is not a lot, I just think its a lot but maybe its not.

I go to school full time but I work in a clothing store during weekends. I am a stylist so my job is to make people look good. I love my good. I never really thought that peoples happiness will make me happy haha but it does. I do encounter some snotty customers but most of the times, my customers are open minded and friendly. My favorite thing in the world is giving make overs and in my job I get to do that. The worst part of my job is doing the inventory for the clothes and accessories. It's too draining at times.

I am in the Accounting Field specifically in Accounts Receivable. When the customers of the client pays them, I apply them electronically to the customers invoices and that's it. I handle the North Pacific Region and Japan. Since an earthquake had strike Japan, I hardly received any payments so basically I use my free time here at Mylot.
