Kidney failure diseases occurs for most of the people today. This has become some common disease today. I have heard that drinking water too much daily, will avoid kidney disease altogether. How far this statement is true?

Hi. KRTWORLDWIDE. I have heard the same thing too. I don't have any kidney issues. I just now got through drinking me some cold water. I have enjoyed it too. Water tastes so good, especially when it is very hot outside. If water helps the kidneys, I will have no problem with drinking it.

By far the most common cause of kidney failure is dehydration. That is why it is very important to drink enough water every day, especially in hot climates and where one is involved in heavy exercise. Three litres of water daily should be everyone's normal intake (and food and other drinks provide some of that, of course) and this should be increased if one is sweating heavily or working in a hot, dry atmosphere. Really excessive drinking (when the body is not excreting water as sweat) should be avoided, though, since it tends to dilute the electrolyte, but it is safer to drink too much than it is to drink too little.
