So many Responses, Overwhelming

Hello Lotters,
It's not that i don't want it, actually i appreciate it though. besides, i'd be worried if the discussion doesn't have that much response, that means it's boring and not interested. I asked myself, i should have make discussions that would interest some group of people around here, otherwise, what's the point of posting anyways.

, i know it's natural to have many responses but now it seems all that i made had some already. but some how i feel overwhelmed. probably you're asking why, that's because am going to comment on all of them and i already feel the drain (from the laundry).
I know some of you are mostly not into commenting all and chose whom responses that you would commment. am not, it's just that it takes a while. 
Gonna rest then i'd get back to you.

I didn't do much since I focus on the white ones, I believed I got some bad headache that I just rushed finishing it. Wasn't that much, I might clean the other parts of the clothing though. Next time, I will do it early in the morning and instead of the afternoon. Have anice day to you my dear sis.

You're right. Overwhelming but fun. I sometimes feel the drain but whenever I am drained, I take a rest for a while then try to respond to them. If not, I rate them.

I wanted to take rest but there's a lot of discussion that I made last night that needs kind of attention. I have rested for a moment but some how the head ache wasn't relieved. I don't know when it became overwhelmed for me, but I guess because of distractions I got cornered that my ability to think more became less capable. Have a nice day.

I definitely like lots of responses and I like to reply to them. The only thing that I don't like is when some mylotters don't read the content before writing makes me mad. I sometimes receive responses that are like clueless of what my topic is about.

that is probably why i can't rush in to posting because i need to read every single discussion, response or comment before i can make my post.it's actually slowing me down but it keeps me from being misinterpreted by some one. some users tend to respond for the sake of it, i have reported a few but there's no action and still posting.

Hey letran, i know exactly what you are feeling ! Well except for the that laundry problem of yours. I too feel a little drained out because i respond to all my dear responders and if i get a lot of them it can take days for me to respond to each one of them. Don't know why but it's not easy for me to respond to them in a single day. It's somewhat like unbearable for me if the responses cross 50. I mean it could be taking me weeks to get over it, and i don't really want to get those many responses. I am quite happy with two to three pages of good responses but more than that and i am going to respond to other discussions and then occasionally drop to respond to my discussion. I hope that laundry problems of yours gets solved and you could get back with your mylot goal back again, soon.

I have a discussion about the tsunami that has almost thirty responses I think. Unfortunately, am not that done with that discussion yet knowing that there's 15 more that I haven't commented yet. Time sure is against all of us for some reason. Well, I am already happy two pages of responses but having more than that can really be overwhelming on my part. I think I can take my time and schedule it per day. I hope I can get to my feet too. Have a great day and happy mylotting.

And again, many of the recent discussions from you have been specific pertaining to something in particular... as I am not well versed with those, I thought to stay away as I could not put or add any value to them.

That's good to know. Which reminds me that I seldom rate a post with all these negative raters roaming around the freaking post and degrades them. It really is a good thing when your discussion have a lot of comments and its good to know you are one of the few that actually take the time to respond to each and every comment.
Having to respond (by choice) to each and every comment is tiring, thats why I don't start that many discussions anymore! The other reason is that its frustrating when a discussion you really want to be successful falls flat and have very little or no comments at all!

really know why I started making discussions again, which will result of tons of responses. But here's the thing, if I don't make a topic, it will make me more and more lazy to do mylot because it makes me tiring to LOOK for a discussion worthy of my interest. It's nice to have friends being active in my discussion even though I haven't respond to theirs, which I really need to. As for you, it takes proper time and having veterans as friends as part of it. But It depends, keep making quality discussions, ok. Have a nice day.

It's satisfying to see that the discussions we creates have a lot of responses. It just shows that it's interesting. I loved it actually but honestly, yes it's does drains your energy & your thoughts.. :) As much as I wanted to respond all that respond to my discussions but I can't.

Now, am just concentrating on mylot and avoid looking on other sites. Now, I am having head ache but if am not looking for other sites, then that's the time that I can make most of the time. Yes, it is indeed overwhelming to see a lot of responses when we start a discussion and sometimes i just love to read all of them and try to response to those that needed responding. There are responses that are similar to the others so in that case, i just need not respond to that anymore.

Well, from time to time I start a discussion that ends up getting more responses back to it than some of my others which in turn takes more time for me to try and respond back to everyone. While it does take time, it also gives me a chance to read more of what others might think and impress upon while maybe learning things about myself and others at the own time. It is quite interesting to start New discussions in here and see what people will respond back with for sure.

It's really overwhelming to have too many responses because you have to spend a good deal of time in commenting back. Though some people take no interest in commenting back, most of us want to exchange ideas further. I once got over 100 responses to one of my topics and every day all my time was devoted to commenting back, which almost killed me. As I think it's a little bit impolite to leave all the responses there with noticing them, I wanted to make others believe that their opinions were highly appreciated and deserved attention. Of course, I want my response appreciated too. Hope I'll soon hear from you.

When I was new here, though that old account had more than three thousand post, I had discussions that has either one or two responses or no response at all. At that time, I didn't think about the quality of my discussions. Some of those topics were violation and the last time had my account deleted. Have a nice day, don't worry, you're being noticed.
