Obsession

Hi mylotters... I know eating too much chocolate isn't good. But chocolate is the only thing that can make me happy when I'm sad. But now, I am trying to minimize eating chocolate. I am becoming more attentive in my health each days passed! How about you?

I love chocolates the same way that you do. It makes me happy. There's nothing wrong if we eat it in moderation.

I also like to eat chocolate. And a lot. But with a little help from my parents I managed to transform this thing in a good one: I started to eat dark chocolate. And I replaced my coffee and other things that are sweet with dark chocolate. I is good for heart, for stomach and for brain. So try to eat more dark chocolate and you will see you feel good eating and also healthy.

I was just going to suggest if you have to eat chocolate, make it dark chocolate. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants which is good for you. Milk interferes with the absorption of antioxidants, that is why milk or white chocolate do not have the same health benefits.

Actually dark chocolate is good for you health especially for your heart. I have seen its benefits on discovery channel, it also helps in our memory that is why i still love chocolate till now! and that is one food i do not minimize

After graduation from collage ,i became so caring for my body and for my health..because good and healthy food is effecting directly on the weight ..So i like to drink more green tea with mint,less sugar in my coffee or tea,be away as i can from sweets and eating dates more.So yes i care for my health i hope to be away as i can from modern life ill

my obsession is also chocolates. and i know how you feel about it. i'd die if i would not eat at least 1 bar of chocolate i day. and its true when you say that it can make you happy, because it does that to me too. Its like drinking my cup of coffee which is one of my obsessions.

Hello Edsss17! Wow! We share the same obsession! I really love chocolate. When I am at school, there's not a day when I don't eat Choco. I don't know if gonna be able to stop.

I like chocolate but I'm not too too crazy about it because it makes my stomach upset once I eat over limit. It doesn't particularly makes me happy though. But for now, I'm gonna hold on to that seeing I weight so heavy!

When depression hits me, the first thing i usually run to is to look for something chocolate to console me. I might be feeling the effects of it afterward but at the moment it is what will comfort me and make me just a bit more happier for a time.

Hi dear, From your statement I think I should beleive that you are free from worries. Normally you used to eat a lot of chocolates whenever you are sad. As you reduced to eat chocolate means you are free from sadness. However, one thing is that here we need to take our own decisions, becuase no one can stop us from eating unless we take our own initiative. This much we need to realise. Not only chocolates, all other matters also like the same only. If we have a strong decisions and view points, it is so easy to give up our bad habits (I am not telling that eating chocolate is a bad habit), but the use of excessive intake can be avoided if we take an appropriate decision, what you say?? Thank-s

I maybe on a diet but I CAN'T give up chocolate. I've been addicted to this since birth because my father used to work abroad and always goes home with a bunch of chocolate. So until now, I'm used to it and I DON'T like to quit eating them.

Lol,so you love chocolates bunso,it doesn't show from your body,lol! I'm not into chocolates much but I always crave for cakes,that's my weakness,lol! Love the blackforest much,haha! It's good to know that you are minimizing from eating it 'cause too much of it is bad to your health. See yah!

It's hard to cut off things you love right? It's the same with me but with fried chicken lol. Anywya I'm trying to cut off some amount of it these days. I don't know why unhealthy stuffs are like really yummy .

that's nice to hear. everything should always be taken in moderation. not all things that makes you feel good is outright good. it's good to indulge sometimes.comfort foods are there to make us feel good and not to make us feel bad about ourselves nor about our health in the long run. :)

I also eat chocolate when i am sad but it justs becomes a regualar thing if you link eating chocolate and being uphappy it is a hard habit to break like it someone starts smoking when they are stressed or down and then give up if they get stressed or down again they often start smoking again dont you agree?

Chocolate is also an obsession for me, by the way I am also obsessed with internet, a cup of tea, facebook, my hubby and my baby and a cup of hot tea. I think health should be a major concern for all of us. I just discovered this website www.livestrong.com, it is about some dares related to health issues, I have also started to look for some weight loss community websites so that I can focus towards a better health.

well unfortunatly i am still eating what i want when i want. yes i love my sweet things but i also like fruit and veg, even though i dont eat enough fruit.
