why some people choose money over love

I have a friend who is gr* out of all points of view. he looks gr8, he a real gentlemn, he's gr* in bed ( from what I've heard)...to make it short..he's what any girl dreams of. he was with this girl for 4 years, thinkgs were gr8...till one day when she decided she wants more, that she wants a guy who would give her a high life style. so she left him practicaly in the street ( he slept in the park for a few days...no food no nothing ), but he still loves her. how could you love someone like that? how was she so stupid to leave him for a jerk who beats her just because he has money?

It is a common, it is happen that this girl has a great expectation, i mean materialistic that's why she go for a men with money.But am sure she wont find real happiness permanently.
she might be happy half of her heart for what she got but half of her heart is full of sadness as she will miss the guy who truly loved her even no money...

It has been said many times before - money is the root of all evil. One day she (and her rich lover) will find out that money can't buy you happiness and certainly not love.

Hard to say with one explanation but I am going to assume that the person is not in love with the guy with money but more with his money.
Money can make make people take on odd actions and surely one day she will realize that money is absolutely not everything. It cannot buy love, peace or happiness.

Thats sad but sometimes people are so blinded by money that their common sense in those type of situations dissappear.In this case the girl was foolishly greedy and abandoned a good guy to persue the richer jerk.
* oh yea they say guys fall deeper in love then girls soo maybe thats why he still likes her?"
In the end tho The good guy will find someone else who will appreciate him and the silly girl will realized she missed out.
