This West Indian cricket team has disgraced the great tradition of West Indian cricket of yester years. The team which was feared world over for its batting as well as bowling prowess has been ridiculed by the cricketers world over. We can't even compare this team with the ones captained by the greats like Sir Garfield Sobers, Clive Loyd, Vivian Richards, Richardson ---. This present team neither equipped with their feared balling attack nor the invincible batting prowess for which their erstwhile colleagues were famous for. It was so pathetic to see their top order batsmen clueless against pace as well as spin alike. It was left to their old war horse Chanderpaul along with the tail enders to give some respectability to the total. It is high time their greats, whom cricket has given so much, come together and sort out the problems hindering the growth of their cricket.
