hi ParaTed It is sad we do not even pay much attention to the police until one of their own is killed. I me an they are out there every day doing their jobs and we take them so for granted. I understand Craig Birkholz was shot by another veteran . how horrible. He served in the war then com es back to be killed here in his own state. I am a Californian but I still honor those like Craig Birkholz who served our country then came back to serve his state.

How horribly sad that he survived all that only to be murdered by a veteran that also served in that war. If Cruckson had been given some help at his last arrest perhaps Officer Birkholz would be alive today. We MUST start helping our veterans! We can't just throw them to the wolves and expect them to come back and merrily go on with perfect lives. My deepest sympathies to the families of all the victims.

I second that. I don't know the details or the man, but I am proud we have men like him. God bless the family and I'm with you in spirit on the ride to honor him.
