Okay... So here's my predicament. My friend is getting married this Saturday. I was only informed about her wedding a couple of weeks ago and I have just decided yesterday to attend her wedding three days from now. It took me this long since I had so many things in my mind and I wasn't sure if I could attend her wedding on Saturday. Furthermore, my vacation leave was just approved. Now, I am left thinking what to give on her wedding day. I hope you guys can help me. I have a couple of days left for shopping so your suggestions are really appreciated.

Hi, as my Tradition, I dont really buy gift for the wedding much... But we give a envelop with check inside (Any amount) you want to give them. so, they can use those money to pay off their wedding as well.

Thanks for your comment but the thing is I am not into giving money on weddings especially if it's a close friend of mine. Money can be spent easily. I want something they can remember and keep after 10 years or so. I am running out of ideas. Thanks for the response though.

maybe you could give something that is worth remembering,a gift that would last long. The value doesn't matter anyway, the important thing is that it is totally given wholeheartedly. But if your asking for something, first you should take a look of what your friend loves to have,or what she's in to.Maybe you could give a collection of pictures of the couple and make it something like a collage or photo frame it with a message from you.Or a personalize tumbler would also do.Hope this could help.Thank you!

Wedding gifts at the last minute can be tough. Have you considered an engraved picture frame for a good picture from the wedding? Size of the frame and the message will cause the price to vary but could be just the special keepsake you were looking for. I've found several gift shops in our local malls that have engravers in the store & can add a message while you wait or within 24 hours if you request a rush. I've had to use this option several times over the years for important anniversaries, births, weddings, etc. It's worth making a few phone calls to find out about the engraving time before heading out to look at the available selection(s) though. Better to know how long they take before getting too attached to a specific item that can't be engraved in time.

Your suggestions are good. But I think, time is quite a big challenge since it was just a few days before I decided to attend the wedding. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'll keep it in mind the next time I'll attend another friend's wedding.

Try giving the some things that they need after the wedding. Like things that they can use when they're in their new home. Like cooking utensils, a set of plates or even silverware.
