well my daughter is turning 2 and my wife and me think that its time for her to learn. so I'm asking any mylotter parents to give me some tips or advice. are there things that i should and shouldn't do? what tricks did you use with your kids and what age did you start potty training? we already got the potty chair and underwear for her for when we start. is there anything else that you think that we should get or have? well i just want to thank those who took the time to help me out here.

Hi, I started to do potty training for my son when he reached 15 months old, it means before he reached 2 years old, he is diaper free in the day time. When I first started the potty training, I will always ask him to pee every hourly. of course, accident can always happened, never mind. keep remind him to sit at the potty when he has the urge to pee or poo. There are time whereby he will refuse to do so. Don't force him...give him time to adapt and slowly he will understand the usage of potty. Do give him small rewards when he manage to pee or poo in the potty chair like giving him some cute stickers or light snack. Do explain to him what is the purpose of the potty chair and if possible, stick some of your daughter 's favourite cartoon character on her potty chair, it does help to encourage her to sit on her potty chair. It took about 6 months for my son to really make the 100% result on the potty training process and now, I am training my son for night potty. So my son is definitely diaperless in day and night time now. Good luck..
