You might read newspaper about the gas explosion happen around Allen Town, Pennsylvania. Many people lost their homes, and properties overnight, such tragedy, we should give those surviving victims sympathy for it. Without doing so, the cable company, would send each family a bill of $120 or more of charge, for the cable equipments they lost in the fire. It was like add insult to the injury. If you are one of those survivors, what would you do?

If I were one of the survivors, I would ignore the bill. That's cold hearted and greedy but unfortunately, most businesses are that way any more. Nothing matters but money and the more the better.

These cable companies merge and grow and raise their rates up and think they can do whatever they want. These people should all switch out to satellite or something and ignore the bills.

Yes I did read about that traffic incident, I use to live in Pa. and worked not too far from Allentown. As for the cable company, the minute I got that bill, I would have notified every type of media that I could have. I would have shown them the bill, and let them broadcast it all over. Show the cable company just how insensitive and down right rude they are being to that community. As for paying the bill, I would take it to the office and tear it up right in front of them.
