Has a diagnosis for Asperger's helped you through school?

I'm finishing my last year of college now, and for the past few months I've suspected that I have Asperger's. I've always had troubles in school, and I started taking adderall in my second year of college because I thought I had adhd. After a while I didn't want the adderall anymore and gave it up. I just tried to do my best on my own. But now that I think I have Asperger's, I wonder if it would help me in school to get therapy or something. I have a lot of problems sticking to my projects when I'm not interested in them. I haven't read that this is a symptom of Asperger's but I wonder if it's related. I have many of the symptoms I read about - not being able to make eye contact with people, staring at people when I don't like them or really like them, being fixated on certain hobbies that interest me, blaming others for my problems, not admitting that I'm wrong, etc. Anyway, it is pretty late to be getting help since I graduate (or fail) in two months. But I want to know how you've gotten through school with asperger's.

I`ve never met anyone with aspergers syndrome. Did you go to the doctor about this? It`s a whole different thing looking it up on the web and self diagnosing it. I mean there are alot of people that have your symtoms. You`re in your last year of college right? You`ve gotten farther than most people. I think with positive thinking and focus, you can graduate without anything. But to be safe you should go see a doctor to be sure you have aspergers. Goodluck.
