Every time I finished bathing I always notice that the side of my nose was generating a white flakes. I don't know if I call that a dead cells. But I am really embarrassed when I always encounter this. I was thinking of moisturizer. But I am shy to asked what kind of moisturizer meant for guys. What moisturizer are you using?

I see you have a new avatar. I don't know what kind of moisturizer you should get for guys. I just wanted to tell you not to be embarrassed to ask for a good moisturizer. You just want to make yourself look and feel better. No one should judge you for that. Best Wishes!

It sounds like a mild case of psoriasis. You don't need a moisturiser as I think you will find that although there are skin flakes, the area is quite oily. There is not a lot you can do just ignore it but speak to a chemist and see if they can recommend something.

haha =D I guess your skin is too dry, especially on your nose? IF u are using facial wash, it might be due to that and it's too dry for your skin.. haha =D WHat u can do is, use lesser on it, especially on your nose. OR dun leave the facial wash on your face for too long before washing it off. IF u are really looking for moisturizer, any one will do.. haha

Hi. syotic20. I am a girl and I get these white flakes around the side of my nose too. I can hardly see them though. I am not using a moisturizer. I do use a facial cream that has moisturizers in it. You may need to try a soap for sensitive skin.

Since oils or lotions are not gender based i think any kind will work.

Hi Syoti, I would say just try using a basic E45 cream would help as moisturisers designed for men can work out to be quite pricey. Huggles. Ellie :D

You may have a common skin condition that requires medical help. Hubby has had this for many years and control is very simple. A simple cream, prescription, is applied one or two times a week and it gets rid of this ugly condition. But you have to see your Doctor to get it.

A white Dove soap has natural moisturizer. Use it for your facial wash habit.

White flakes? I haven't heard of that. But i know there's white heads. Anyway, if that is so, then you get yourself a good moisturizer. Pond's is a nice brand and it's cheaper. Try the sachets ones first, so you will know if your face will not be allergic to it.
