I got home at 6:30 and then my Mom came from the church at around 7:00PM. She looked so sad and very tired. I thought she was mad at me or something that time when she look at me that time, she really look distressed. I went to my room quietly. I never asked whats wrong because I was afraid that I was the reason why she look so sad. This morning, as I go down the stairs, I saw my mom standing in front of me. When she noticed me, I look her very teary eye and asked whats wrong. She answered in bitter sound " I lost my wallet last night.". and then she started moaning. I hugged her tightly and listened to her. She told me that the money in it is approximately P 16,000 which was supposed to be used to purchase stocks in our business. That money could be hardly earned today. You ahve to exert much effort just to earn it. I was so sad for her but happened has happened and I cant do anything to restore her wallet. I just tried to pacify her that it is God's call for you to help other people. That person who took/found it must be in extreme need that is why God chose her to sacrifice that. I noticed her face looked better. and She started to move on and get back to normal.

Awwh Danzylop what a sweet guy you are. You know why your Mama was smiling and cheerful? Because she as a mother knew that one day, one day her son would thank her for the wonderful job she has done in raising him. I was told this once by my priest and he said I perhaps would never hear it from my childrens lips but one day the way they respond and carry themselves in life will be the wonderful thank you we deserve. So your Mama and I both have truly lived the moment. Bless your heart and you know what I am firm believer that when one door closes, although in time another opens so let's keep our fingers and toes cross so that your Mama progresses and comes ahead despite the loss. Kisses and hugs to you!

Thanks for the compliment. Some miracle happened. Someone took the ID's,etc back to my mom. although the money was not returned my mom really felt the relief. THe task of requesting for replacement of the Social Security System ID's, Tax Identification Number, Driver's License and other membership IDs is the most hassle part of the story. I am so happy that my mom dont have to start from zero to obtain it all back.. thanks God!

Hello danzylop, I am so sorry for such lost, It's not a joke having 16,000Php and suddenly lost it. i believe the lesson here is that never put any LARGE amount of money in just a wallet. put it inside your jeans or any kind of clothing. better yet, if you're wearing Shoes, put it under it. never PUT big cash in just plain wallet. another way is put the money in your bag, then have the bag carried in front instead of Back. you can't just get careless with that kind of amount in money.. Again, i feel sorry for this situation.

Don't worry, just remember my advice here.because if the same case happens at least she or you will have half or 1/8 of what remained.

I dont a 16000 would fit inside the shoes.. hahahha! Well my mom didnt expect that. They parked the car in a side of the road with no one else around. Its not a crowded place. As she said, is like magic. She didnt notice someone around that whole time. All she can remember was the guy who help them but that guy never came in the front sit because the wheel they were busy of was the rear wheel.

Well, that can be considered a blessing in disguise. God works in mysterious ways but it would be great help if He made it more obvious.

My, that's a big amount. Did she drop her purse, or was it stolen from her? That money is really hard to find nowadays, but just think positive. I know that she will be able to find the money again, hopefully doubled this time.

Hello Whengcat, it's really hard though when have such a big money to loose. am glad he was able to do it and kept her calm. but i think the best thing here is that she didn't get killed or harmed. the important thing is that she's alive and well.

so sweet of you to comfort your mom in times like that. I agree with you that the amount you lost is very hard to find nowadays but I like the way you comfort your mom and inspite of what had happened you still manage to look at it in a positive way.

Oh so sad that you are not able to read your mon's mind with those look on you. Have you done wrong that you fear she looked at you like that? Kidding aside, you have done the right thing to pacify her. Well, it is a lesson learned to be very careful next time. Second, just pray that the person who have taken it will use it in a good way. Third, be thankful that nothing worse happened.

I was always playing in front of my computer. When she came in, she look at my PCs monitor and then into my face. I thought she was mad about that so I just stood up quietly and went to my room. It was so sad that I didnt had the idea to ask.

You are such a kind person,I admire you,you appease your mother, then her face became better and returned to normal. My situation is similar with you,I remember my mother's wallet was lost, and I comfort my mother, and she also returned to normal, and I am very hasppy.

Ouch! 16 thousand is a big amount. But then there's nothing you can do to get it back except accept the fact that it's lost. You did a great job in comforting her, she may still feel sorry or even blame herself for the loss but with your support the easier for her to forget about it and move on.

Hi there, I am very sad to read this. My hearth goes out to you and your mom. I know how disheartening it can be to lose the money one's earned so hard. Once my partner lost his money and he was upset for a week. I hope your mama's doing fine and she is proud have a son like you. You did a good job at pacifying her. God Bless!

Indeed it was really painful. I know how hard my mom work so hard to earn a hundred, what more for that much money. She cried so hard and that torn my heart. Ive saved 15 thousand and lent it to her to make her feel better.
