I'm in the movies mode tonight... this i guess is my 3rd post related to the topic of movies...
Okay.. so as per my topic title says... do you have some sample movies that you were so excited to watch because you liked and got excited by the trailer... that when you saw the movie's trailer you thought the movie is promising.. but when you watched it, you got disappointed!
please do share...

I am not a big movie watcher except as background when I am stretching for dance or working on something (I am odd and have to have something to break the monotony) or when I am winding down at night, and even then I have to be in the mood. As such, I don't follow movies and therefore never catch the trailers or previews. I may occasionally, scour YouTube for trailers of special favorites though (those that are in a genre I like or star an actor/actress I'm fond of).
There is, however, one film that stands out as looking a heck of a lot better in the previews than it actually was, and that was Big Daddy, the Adam Sandler movie (1999, I think). The trailer made it look pretty funny, so some friends and I went to see it. Instead the stupidity and obliviousness of Adam Sandler's character amazed me and the exposure of body fluids of every variety by every means was a bit much. It was also pretty vulgar in parts and the ending was a bit forced. I guess if you enjoy that type of comedy, then it's all good, but it's never been the type of thing I could really get into.
