For me, everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. But an online teaching has a lot of advantages, especially for the disabled person. It can make education very accessible for them. There is no need for them to commute just to be in school. It can also maximize their time. Online Teaching also helps minimize the use of gasoline or commuting to school, use of papers, books and the like, and constructing of buildings for school. In this way, it can help minimize pollutions, cutting of trees, cut cost of expenses, which are some factors of ruining mother earth.

As an online teacher I have a lot of good things to say about online teaching. My students are Koreans and they study in the comforts of their own homes there in Korea while I am here in the Philippines. Online classes have opened windows for people from different countries and different cultures to work together and learn a lot from each other.

It definitely gives others a chance to study though they do not have that much money or time on their side. Especially nowadays, everything seems to be expensive already that people would rather find jobs from home just so to cut costs on transportation. But it definitely is an advantage for the disabled and for people who do not have a lot of time to go around.

hi, you are just seeing the positive way of using net teaching ,whih is virtual.I think still we are not that developed to have that environment .Still live things are essential. How much can v depend on machines for everthing.Life is to live and learn from things around us.Nature is felt we can not see it in the machine.Playing out with frineds is happier while siting and doing some online game.Disabled people can utilise things of internet for learning however Everythin g has it s positive and negative impact.

Online teaching may be considered as an alternate but can never be a substitute of traditional teaching where an interaction among students and with teachers is possible and this also helps a lot in the teaching process itself.

Yea as you said there are both advantages and disadvantages of online teaching. Online teaching would bring much comfort to both the teacher and the learner and also it sould have lots of time particularly for the teacher. For online teaching teachers don't need to stand infront of the class and bear the pain. Students also can learn online when ever he wants. But at the same time there can is lots of disadcatages too. As students is not in face to face with the teacher, there is less chance that student will pay attention. He will not improve his behavior and also communication skills as he won't interact directly with the teacher. He won't learn how to work and group and many more... It may depend upon students to student.

yes, you can arrange your time freely, and you don't need to take a bus or something to have class, but i think you should be very self-control. I tried online classes before, but i just screwed it up, i conĀ“t concentrate. So envy you

jcbelle, I am for on line learning but that could be limiting the socials. A person must join groups and classes not only for the intellectual development but also for the emotional. So perhaps a balance is needed here.

I totally agree with you jcbelle. Its advantages is more than the disadvantage. One such disadvantage though is your lack of social interaction with other students. I guess other than that no more.

hi,jcbelle, The advantages are just like what you say, maybe it's a good idea for me to choose, it can save much time and it's quite convenient. It can cultivate the independent thinking and problem-solving skills. But online learning lack of exercise, and almost keep a same gesture, the computer radiation also will be serious, and of course the social is a big problem.
