to impeach? http://www.salon.com/news/politics/war_room/2011/03/21/lind_libya_war/index.html The attack on Gaddafi is opposed by 40% of the human race. Or so says this op/ed on Salon.com The article claims it may be legal under the UN, but illegal under the Constitution. This is not the first unconstitutional war in American history. Truman’s Korean war and Clinton’s Kosovo war and his invasion of Haiti were all waged without congressional authorization (the Vietnam War was authorized by the Southeast Asia Resolution or “Gulf of Tonkin” Resolution). In contrast, Ronald Reagan obtained a congressional joint resolution authorizing his brief intervention in Lebanon (September 29, 1983), George Herbert Walker won a congressional joint resolution in favor of the Gulf War on January 12, 1991, while his son George W. Bush similarly obtained congressional authorization for the Afghan War (September 14, 2001) and the Iraq War (October 16, 2002). Unconstitutional wars waged without authorization by Congress and justified in the name of this or that international diplomatic body -- the UN, the Organization of American States, or in the case of the Libyan war the Arab League -- seem to be a specialty of "internationalist" Democratic presidents like Truman, Clinton and Obama. sooo..can we, can we, can we please impeach him?

Oh, I do agree. What I am questioning is the way our president went about doing so.

But you forget that he is acting for the greater good. Don't question the reasoning just look at his intentions, which are to save helpless people. So it is alright because his intentions were good. Besides which is more important the UN or the Constitution?

aaawwww...I forgot that his intentions were good. And you're right, who cares about a 235 year old piece of paper. And who cares that we don't know if we're killing rebels or Gadaffi's troops. Who cares if we know WHO's backing the REBELS. Awwwww but his intentions are good. Nevermind. http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/76660,news-comment,news-politics,who-are-the-rebels-we-are-fighting-to-protect

Good luck with that. Obama has made a game of stomping on our sovereignty and our Constitution. I think he is winning. It is time to hold Congress responsible. They are the ones that have to fix this. They seem to be trying to do the country's business but are finding their hands tied. It is time they free themselves. We cant do a damn thing until the election next year.

Right now the US "humanitarian" force is "protecting" the people of Libya by the use of Depleted Uranium .... consider the humanitarian mission a fail already

I do understand your point, it is rather ironic. But I also feel that we should do something to protect them. I really don't know what would be effective. BUT I also believe that Obama has overstepped his bounds by not going through Congress and instead listening to the UN and other nations as to what we should do.
