India never defeated Pakistan in world cups!!!

I was amazed to get to know that Pakistan cricket team have never beaten Indian cricket team in the world cups ever. This time around the Semi Final match between these two teams is scheduled and lets see what the result would be. India reached S/F beating Australia & Pakistan by thrashing West Indies.
This match would be truly delightful and heart-throbbing to watch, since every INDIA-PAKISTAN match has been an last ball sizzler which goes down to the wire and won by the team holding their nerves till the last microsecond.

I think you got the heading wrong my friend. Pakistan never defeated India in the world cups. But such records can change and are just past records and do not mean anything for the future. Having said that India will still be the favorites going into this match, but with a Pakistani team you never know what to expect.

Well, the heading went on suddenly on the wrong foot, Sorry, huh! The fact stays, right. India won the most awaited encounter against Pakistan, indeed. The match went on superbly and India holding the nerves got away into the Finals against Sri Lanka on Saturday, i.e. tomorrow, right. India were the favorites yet nothing could be said till the last bowl bowled, that who's going to grasp victory.
India made it this time, 5 encounters and India have won all the time.

Well Sorry for that! I couldn't help it, it was posted before I could edit.
The world cups have seen lots of newer and amazing things every now and then. This could be it, if Pakistan for the first time defeat India in world Cup 2011. Pakistan say they are not going to let Sachin Tendulkar get to his 100th century in cricket on the semi finals. Anyway even if Sachin is stopped from making histories often, the other brilliant players of the team won't be put a sudden break at all by the Pakistan team as there's a lot class in many of the palyers possessed by Indian team.

Ya it will always be interesting when the arch rivals India and Pakistan meet each other in any kind of sports.It would be a better scenario if the clash is in cricket and that too in the world cup semis.I am sure it will be a fine match as both teams are from the sub-continent and both are well equipped with their spin bowlers.It will be really difficult for anyone to predict the result of the match.

This time around too the prediction is not in any one's hands for sure. Arch rivals, exactly, you said it. Both teams are matched with each other, players of spin are combined in both teams, the bowlers in Pakistan team would be given a little extra marks, because Indian team lacks are pace bowler in terms of speed and furiousness, to be frank.
A match to the world cup finals makes it very evenly poised, huh!

I agree that the team holding their nerves till the last moment will be winner and this is where I see India winning the match. We have Dhoni, Captain Cool, who have a very calming effect on the team.

Sorry! It was like when I got to know that, the discussion was already posted.
Both the teams are born to produce an superb match every time they meet each other. Yes indeed, the tactics of MR.COOL captain always get positive and India wins the tighter matches with sudden surprises by this very man, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But not just him the bowlers have to perform without any flaws in such a crucial match not just for India but for Pakistan as well. Hoping the match this time doesn't get one-sided.

no you are wrong India have defeated Pakistan in 2003 World Cup and it was the same victory for India vs Pakistan.So let us be happy about it.
