I was reading online about the what would happen if the two Pauls went after each other when I saw this article. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/03/obamas-hidden-hand/73022/ It outlined how Obama works and well they compared him to a master mind who was Dwight Eisenhower (The WWII Allies Head Commander). I was not a live during Eisenhower so I don't know much about how his presidency worked. But at least from the Article they said he was a behind the scene leader where he wasn't out in the public eye but was very busy behind the scenes getting things done that would later surface to the public eye. Which does seem to fall in line with how so far Obama doesn't seem to take much of a stance on many things until the near end and how he went from being a weak president early this year before the new congress to being the OH MY GOD he got what passed? I think he got more things done in the last half without a signal issue. Congress passed and went his way he made some concessions but got what he wanted in. So what do you think? Is Obama an "Hidden Hand" President? Not the upfront president of the past few but of a president more in the shadows or behind the curtains moving strings and getting things done.

For a few weeks it was the fashion in the press to try to make out that Obama was Reagan. Now, he's Eisenhower? Sorry, Obama is no Reagan and he's certainly not Ike, either. Why does Obama have to be either of these beloved presidents? Could it be that his own image is so poor and his leadership so nonexistent that the only way to boost his public image is to try to paint him as the reincarnation of a former, better president? An agenda-driven democratic Congress got the health care bill passed. It is clear from the more than 30 speeches that Obama gave on health care that he has no idea what is in the bill or how it works. Obama is a no-show on every major issue, every problem, every crisis facing this nation. His solutions create more problems without even addressing the problems he purports to be trying to solve. Throwing parties, taking eight vacations, golfing and leaving the country while the world burns down around us is not being a "hidden hand" president. It's avoiding leadership. I can only assume that Obama is clueless on all the foreign policy issues that need addressing, and that he simply waits to see what the rest of the world thinks before he says anything. Certainly, it was Hillary who pushed him into a decision on Libya. I don't think Obama knows what the decision should be nor does he want to make decisions.

Well I find it interesting that in the last few months he stayed away from the lime light.
