Continuous absence from mylot and the fate of the account?

How many days’ continuous absence to the maximum from mylot is allowed by the management of mylot to keep the account with them valid? What will happen to a mylotter, if he fails to comply with this rule of mylot? Will his account be disabled for ever or will the account be made active again after appeal citing proper reason behind such a discontinuation at a stretch. Under such circumstances, will he need open a new account but the same user name, email address and IP address will be allowed to continue or will he need open a new account with everything new that is with new user name, email address and IP address or same IP address will be allowed but user name, email address have to be changed?

MyLot do not disable your account if you are absent but any earnings will be forfeited if you do not log on at least once every 90 days. There are many people here who have not visited for several years but whose accounts are still active. Even when an account is deleted (either by MyLot or by the user), that username can never be used again. MyLot only delete accounts for serious violations of the Terms or Guidelines. That does not, in itself, prevent someone from opening a new account with the same IP address and email address but MyLot can be expected to use checking procedures to prevent people from misusing the site.

That is correct. You don't have to do anything except log in at least once every 90 days.

This means that just logging in is enough to keep the mylot account active, the mylotter may not take part in any discussion.

Accounts on myLot are never deleted. The worst thing that happens is that you lose your accumulated earnings if you don't log on for 90days/three months. You don't have to post anything just log on. Are you absent right now?

I recall a discussion where DoctorDidi was concerned about the fate of earnings, so this would be the wisest response the member can receive. I do hope DoctorDidi comments and understands because of loss of earnings cannot be recovered!

This discussion made me check the FAQ and the terms of agreement after reading the title but after reading this I saw the golden sunshine's, Miss D, response and instantly knew that this discussion is guided rightly and add to that the second response came from Mr Owl himself also. So I got nothing more to add in here. I'm sure if you have more queries they can answer it pretty well if not then I guess Goaskalice would also butt in.

As far as I can tell , You have to notify My Lot to delete an account. I have friends who's profile shows they haven't been here for over 60 days.

Hi yugasini. I am sure that we are not allowed to create two or multiple accounts here. Better inform the admin about your other account and have it deleted if you do not want it anymore; rather than for admin to find out and delete both your accounts. Just a suggestion.

It is against the Terms of MyLot to have more than one account that YOU use. If your wife uses the account and it is hers, then that is alright (but you should fill in the form in Preferences) but YOU must not use it! The best thing to do would be to delete that account which you can do by logging in to it and going to this link: http://www.mylot.com/nr/cancel.aspx

Once you've got an account with mylot, they will not delete your account due to inactivity. That said, if you do not log on for a period of ninety days, then you are forfeiting your earnings. In other words, you will lose any money that was not due to be paid out to you and you will have to start from scratch. I know that this kind of stinks, but at least you still know that you do have an account with the site.

This is an important issue you raised. Let the administration tell us.

I don't think that Mylot accounts are ever deleted. I think you should be able to go for as long as you want not being active and your account should be fine. I highly doubt that they would ever delete or disable your account without you doing it yourself.
