It depends on what they treat you for as well, I mean of course they're going to treat you for the rash but the medicine they give you or tests they perform may be more. Also the individual doctor will most likely bill you as well. I went to the ER in NC and it cost me about $1000 plus about $300 for the doctor himself to treat me.

ER visits usually cost around a thousand dollars. But that's with insurance so I have no idea what you'd have to pay. What kind of rash is it and do you know where you got it?

Ever taken it before and nothing happened? If this is the first time you've ever taken it then you'd probably put it off to the side and stick a warning on it until you can figure out whether or not it gave you this rash. As for going to the emergency room, it would depend on the severity of the rash and whether or not you think it's getting worse. If it's a few patches of itchy red spots and they seem to be fading then I'd just wait awhile to see if it clears up on its own. If the spots are so bright and vivid that you look like you've got the chicken pox and it's only getting worse, then you probably need to see a doctor. I'd see if there's a health clinic or doctor that will see you instead of trying to go to the emergency room because those visits are hugely expensive.

just came back from doctor's clinic. they charged me 160 dollars for the consult and 10.99 for the medicines and that's a whole lot better than a thousand dollars! thanks for your advice! :)
