Quench your thirst with the Living Water!

Around us we see so much water. And because we have mismanaged the earth, the water had even come to drown us. A decade ago, water is drank from tap. Now, there is a need to distill or purify the water before we can consume it. And water comes in plastic containers... Two thousand years ago, Jesus had already told us that we cab only quench our thirst if we partake of the Living Water, Jesus Himself. Yet, in our preoccupation about our own happiness, our own status in life, our own desires, we forget about the Living Water that could satisfy the drought of our existence. How do you feel now? Arid? Or drowned? Perhaps it is time to drink the Living Water to get the system functioning in the right direction.

Hi Eileenleyva. What a great discussion to bring all back to Christ. HE is the living water and we all should take a drink of HIS love. It is time people to take notice if you want HIS love in your life, open your eyes. These days we all need to be watching for HIS return and praying we are in good standing with HIM! Time is getting shorter watch the news if you don't believe me. And take heed to read your bible it tells us in so many places these things that are happening right before our eyes is signs of HIS coming to claim HIS kingdom the earth. Again Eileenleyva what a great discussion. Thank you!

I believe you and sometimes, I even listen to all the tales of doomsday coming. But I actually laugh at how people make a fuzz about the end of the world. Much ado about nothing. They are so afraid to lose the billion bucks. Nobody ever listened you cannot bring those to the grave.

Hi Eileenleyva. No you can't take anything when you pass on out of this life. I am not worried about the end of times as we know it. I know what is coming after this earth age. I know that we will be in a better life. There will be no more pain and suffering no more evil and we will all be with God. I don't understand why anyone would think that the billion bucks they have on this earth will make them happy. Happiness is in Gods love nothing in this world can make anyone happy.

Water in singapore is safe to drink, even though it comes from the tap. It has been purified before reaching us. However, in some countries, it's not recommended to drink water direct from taps as they are not clean. When it comes to water, i would actually prefer to drink from the stream, a river than tap water. As water needs to reach us via pipes and many other processes, it might end up dirtier than it should be.

Mineral water from springs are drinkable, but the water from the stream or the river might be questionable. It could be contaminated with bacteria.

True, with the present situations, earthquakes, radiation leaking , wars there is a need for everybody to drink of the Living Water. Only through Him could we ask for help and for peace. Perhaps, if all people will pray fervently, coupled with sincere repentance of our sins, God will make living a peaceful one.

we are not quenched by the living water because we keep on busying ourselves with our struggle to survive,we do not mind if our spirit is thirsty. We journey but we forget to drink to quench and cleanse the innermost part of our being.

Life is indeed very heavy to bear. The problems seem to be insurmountable. But when things look so hopeless, I am always amazed, God gives solutions I didn't even think probable.

Hi eileenleyva, I believe that it is always time to drink the living water, which I take to mean living the way that Jesus and other great masters taught. Following the golden rule that is found in all major world religions would be to drink of that living water. It is simply our greed that has prevented us from coming to the living waters. As Jesus himself said, "eyes have they and see not, ears have they and hear not". Blessings.

The golden rule: Do unto others what you want to be done unto you. True Pose, this is also the law of karma. What you do to others will happen to you. What you give, you will receive. What you sow, you will reap. The golden rule, stated in so many ways, yet many do not understand.

Nice post. Indeed it is Jesus who can make us feel complete. We have to visit our bible and read his words its the food and drinks to our system. Whenever i am beset with life battles it always feels good when you read the part of the bible that could give you the answer, and after that you will have that feeling of being full and well.

True. Reading the Bible must be a daily, if not constant habit.

Although I am not exactly sure about your message, and what you are trying to convey about. But one thing for sure, we should preserve our precious water resource, and trying not to contaminate it. We have to keep our water system clean, and we have to find a way to make our water drinkable and healthy for everyone of us here.

Thanks, lotterylover, for the help. king, the medium is the message. Take it both literally and figuratively. Our friend lottery simply spelled it out loud and clear.

Quite true. Love is synonymous to God, our Father, and He is the Creator of all nature where we exist!
