My son's iPad screen has a deep scratch for some reason that he was not able to tell me. I got mad at first, not at him but at the nanny who told my son to put the iPad on the floor. She was too stupid for doing that. The iPad has a case but my son prefers to play with it without the case and now it got deeply scratched. Is there any way to remove the scratch on the screen. Will eyeglasses scratch remover help? It's about three inches long and it really looks ugly. I wanna get rid of it as k don't want to see his iPad with that deep scratch.

I have no idea why anyone would want an ipad, let alone a kid depends on how deep the scratch is but if it is not too deep it can be buffed over with products.

It's not my kid's fault though. It's the nanny's fault coz he has been using it for two weeks and noing has happened to it. There are applications in iPad that are very useful to kids even those with ADHD.

I suggest to be careful with that, the iPad is an extremely delicated object. Take it to an Apple Center and see what they say... also, check your warranty - maybe they'll give you a new iPad or try to fix the damage. Consider that using a scratch remover not approved by Apple would make the warranty null, so (since asking doesn't cost anything) ask to Apple's experts. Good luck.

i heard that for people that bought the ipad 2 they have some problems linked to the screen i don't know in reality because i don't buy it and i am not planning havin one as well...but may be if your problem is hard to solve may be you can ask to amac center and may be they can solve without problems!!

Hi. I think it would be better if you bring your unit to a MAC center and ask if they have ways of removing it. It may entail some cost but it's safer than do-it-yourself methods. Is the case slim? I asked because it may be one reason why your son doesn't like using the iPad with a case. I bought a slim casing for my son's iPad and it seems not to bother him when he uses it. It's like the iPad has no casing at all :)
