Soros, who believes the enemy of society is capitalism intends to remake the global economy.
On April 8 they will meet to decide our future. Seeing he wants to reform the currency system I'm betting the crash is about to happen.
To quote Soros on the agenda for the meeting;
"a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order."
To further quote Soros;
"Reorganizing the world order will need to extend beyond the financial system and involve the United Nations, especially membership of the Security Council,' he wrote.
So, do you have your garden planted yet. How about buying a horse to get around?

Well seeing as most of us will not have a job to drive to, a big dog can pull a small wagon or cart to haul stuff in.

What's the most frightening is that so many people don't understand or choose not to believe how dangerous this man is.
I cringe to think of the riots we could have when the economy collapses and people want what others have grown because they have chosen to remain uninformed.

I saw this one from Media Research Center today: http://www.mrc.org/bmi/commentary/2011/Unreported_Soros_Event_Aims_to_Remake_Entire_Global_Economy.html
It lists the speakers that will be there on April 8 and how they are all tied to Soros. It also mentions where he said "we need a global sheriff" and the link to that as well.

Skidelsky called for a new agreement and said in the video that the conflict between the United States and China was "at the center of any monetary deal that may be struck,that needs to be struck.
Funny, I told someone on mylot that China would call in it's chips soon. I won't mention her name. She disagreed.
and btw...I typed that quote out word for word...

What I've noticed is that they at least used to pretend to be altruistic, now they just come out and say I'm greedy and corrupt.

"Soros, who believes the enemy of society is capitalism" This is a rather swiping statement that has no foundation in fact other than the ravings of Glen Beck and other assorted members of the tin foil hat, conspiracy theorist set.
If you want to understand INET visit their website, not some half-baked site that is trying to support the unsupportable view that biblical prophecy is unfolding before our eyes. It is a think tank not some secret society out to establish a new world order.

Glen Beck is not my source. And I think your estimation of the website is rather presumptuous. Who are you to decide what is 'half-baked' and what is not?

I think you may be giving Mr. Soros much too much credit. It's going to take a lot more than one rich man to change our currency system.
I don't have my garden planted yet but I'm hoping to have one this year. Of course, I've said that before and it never actually happened. If I do it won't be out of any Bech and Bachmann induced panic but simply because I truly enjoy homegrown vegetables not to mention the savings.

I think most people don't worry enough about Soros. Look what he did in Britain if you have doubts.

Most of the work to change our way of doing business has changed already. All the 'hard' work is done for this to happen. He's not looking to do it himself. He's calling this meeting to decide who does what. To tip it over as it's on the brink already.

What are you going to grow? I was going to grow one anyway. It's a lot of work, but worth it in satisfaction. I hope you find the time to do it!

I haven't planted my garden yet, we don't usually put anything in the ground here till mid-May because of the frost danger. I do, however, intend to start some vegetables sprouting in a couple of weeks! I also have a lot of food stored for an emergency so I'll be okay for awhile. Unfortunately, not many people are prepared for any type of natural or financial emergency--the economy has wiped out so many peoples' emergency funds. Soros is picking (or has engineered) a great time to take over or cause a financial disaster.

I'm aware of Cloward & Piven strategy and it came as no surprise to me when I learned of it. It explained a lot of things that went on 40 years ago and that are going on now. I just wish there was a way to stop it but the people in power, including our president I believe, are in on it. I guess we just hang on and do what we can to preserve what rights we have left.

It did explain the last 40 years to me too. If there was any doubt in my mind that this was all planned, reading about the Cloward Piven strategy cleared up that doubt.
You forgot one thing we need to do, get right with God. I believe we are in for a rough ride.
