Love and respect, both are the subject of emotion that is grown in our mind out of our nature nad experience. It depends upon the nature of a person which makes the nature of love and respect. I, think a love cannot be realised without respect. If you don't respect any one, you cannot have absolute love for that person. What is your opinion?

hi, love and respect should be always together, because if one of them is nothing in a relationship love will never works, and i experienced that many times and i know how a relationship will run without one of them.

Respect is so important. You are so right about love and respect. I think that respect can deepen a relationship and bring comfort to both people involved. One that is respected is treated much differently than one that is not.

Hi, saibal Maybe you are thinking of the love and respect we should have in a marriage and between friends and other grown ups. Yes, we need both in all relationships. A very young baby cannot show much respect, but if it is treated with love and respect, it will learn from us. The Bible teaches us how to combine these two great qualities and if you go to the watchtower.org site and make a search with some key words, for example "marriage" "love" and "respect", you will find a lot of good advice. I found a couple of good articles, especially for young people searching the word "respect" and a lot more good advice.

Love and respect must go hand in hand. There is no way for any love to progress without the respect in the relationship. Some may believe they are in love but if there is no respect I can't see how mutual respect can be correlated. When we love someone we want to offer them the world and can't somehow see that happening if there is no respect.
