I am getting new pair of glasses and contact lenses, big cost

Today, I just have to get some new contact lenses, since the lenses I had from last year was used up. So, it is kind of urgency for me to get new ones. After eye examinations and everything, I have to paid around $159 for those contact lenses for a whole year. Now, out of nowhere, I want to get myself a pair of glasses too. So I pick the frame and a transition glasses for the total of $300. So, you can imagine, how much I had spend today. After I saw the receipt, I just sigh, and couldn't believe what I just done. Well, I need them, and it gonna be last for while. Big spending day for me.

I just did this too just last month. Well I used contact lens for two years and then finally decided to wear glasses by the end of last year. After 6 months of getting used to my glasses, I had the lens changed since it had a scratch on it when I accidentally lost my grip on the glasses while cleaning the lens. When I had the lenses of my glasses changed, I got interested in buying two pairs of colored contact lens and ended up buying them. I know that I might have saved some money if I just opted to pay for my glasses but still, the contacts got my attention and finally decided to buy two pairs of contact lenses. I wear the glasses and the contacts alternately.

I am wearing glasses and contacts as well, but a total of cost near $500 for two items is a little overwhelming for me. Normally 500 Chinese yuan can absolutely get these two approximately $70.

Eye wear in my eyes falls in the same category as health care so the price for them are way too high these days. There are some places where you can get great deals but after all the added incentives get tacked on it becomes quite a big expense. Enjoy your new shades and cheers to a better eye-sight!
