I found out about this guy last year because of the person he inspired.
"One Red Paperclip" was a project started in 2005 by a guy in Canada that lasted around a year. From what I learned of it, the creator was unemployed and got tired of not being able to financially contribute to his relationship with his girlfriend.
Inspired by a childhood game called Trade Even Trade Up (I think that's what it's called), he looked around on his desk and spotted a single red paper.
From there, he posted an ad on Craig's List with a link to his blog making the offer for a trade and that he would travel anywhere in North America. His one red paperclip eventually led him to getting.....
A two story house!
Another man inspired by that, he started with an old cellphone from a friend and eventually traded to a Porche. You read that right, a cellphone eventually led to a Porche. This one I heard on the news one night and was how I found out about "One Red Paperclip".
With the ORP, I love reading and rereading the journey on his blog (Google it, it won't be hard to find). It's pretty inspirational I think. I even want to try this out myself once I find something I want to start with.
Anyone know about this as well? Did you ever try something like this yourself? Maybe not for something so big, but still?

It is a very inspiring story and i definitely will read the book.it shows us that with a little luck and some skill the skys the limit. Not everybody can have this major success but it does give hope that we can have some success without a lot of money to invest.
