Hello guys. Been here (in mylot) for quite sometime and for me mylot is a part of my life's daily routine. This is my (only) online place where I could express and voice-out all kinds of feeling I encountered. The most is if I would encounter very heavy burden that I feel like am the loneliest and the poorest man alive on earth that being cursed by time. I would not be ashamed to share it here just to lighten up the burden I have. For me, I am not posting this discussion to gain credits or whatever. In fact, I am very much willing to donate all what I had in my paypal to any charities should I be freed from this burden of mine. This proves that I am not ashamed to share it here though I have few friends here that knew me personally. I am just being true to myself and to all of my friends here. YES!! I am not ashamed to tell the world that I am very "broke" these days. Pressured of lots of due debts to be paid and everything that money matters. I've already tried lots of ways to earn online but as of this time only few cents showed. Blogs takes time to accumulate enough earnings. Here in our country there's an age barrier if you would apply for an offline job. Here are the solutions that I wish I could have: For my daily survival, I need a daily income to sustain my daily needs. To all of my debts, hope I could someone, anyone who has a "big heart" and can afford to save all my debts momentarily and pay him/her back on a payment scheme that would easy for me to pay back. This two wishes I mentioned above would be enough in order for me to focus on the things I would do to maintain my whole life back to normal again. We have different problems because this is part of our lives but only on different categories based on our status. This is the category where I belong right now I hope I can survive. Can you share your ideas and suggestions if you are at my situation? PM me if it's personal. Mobhomeir here

You're not alone with this, Like me I only have enough I would spend below my means just to curve of expenses, sometimes a little enthusiasm of the way we put things so that we could survive at the end of the day but who knows a great opportunity might be around the corner. Have you ever thought having less but happy you have your family, closed friends, relatives and confidant that would be enough? But certainly if life is only about money then it's very boring it would not ease up the reality that you are here not for money but for enjoyment that you are meant to be here. For me I don't have much I have enough of my day to see the people who care for me to find time to be at paece with my faith and my belief, Like a teacher whose only desire is to inspire kids in a day and prepare them for the next lesson. Life is great when it is simple. Life is Challenging when it is accompanied with concern poverty is not a measure of wealth but an evaluation of accepting the reality. Be courageuos you'll pass through, I'm sure of that.

hi daddy mob! there's nothing to be ashamed of, actually its a good thing that you know your situation and that you accepted it, from that you can start doing something to get out of the situation. don't lose hope coz God is with us. keep on praying and ask for His help and guidance and for Him to make you even stronger to face all these problems. I have experienced the same, I guess I even grew up with these kinds of problems where my parents will send me to our neighbor or friends to borrow some money so that we can survive a day, its really difficult but thanks God that we survive, even if till now there are times that my parents are still struggling but not as much coz my father have a regular job, but really small salary. I think at this moment, you should not be choosy in work, if there's an opportunity, grab it even if the salary is not that huge atleast that's better than nothing. I hope that you can find a job that can sustain your daily needs till you find a better one that could help you pay your debts.

That's what important, that you are doing something. This topic reminds me of our situation before when my father don't have a job. Its really difficult especially when it also cause some misunderstandings and quarrels between my parents, and what makes the situation worst is that there are some people who instead of helping us are just making things more difficult for us and saying this and that! huh! thanks that we survived such situation and I believe that you will surpass it too and a better life is waiting for you ahead...just keep your faith alive.

I think we should not feel ashame of being poor, though some people only "respect" the rich, I don't think it's right to do so. I am a work at home mom, I just quit my daily job last year and stay at home to take care of my son. Though I still have a small amount of income every month, I actually can't afford to pay for my parents' living. I am glad that they understand me, and they are still being supportive. I have been thinking some ways of working at home: 1. As a software developer, I can still try to get software and web development projects and work at home. 2. I am thinking if it's possible to set up an online store. The capital is low, and I can just stay at home and work. I just need to find the way to work this out. 3. Pick up some skills so that I can work from home. 4. Give home tuition. My mum was also working from home when we were young, she is a tailor. I have seen some blogs selling handmade crafts too. Some mothers provide babysitting, food catering, etc. There are many people opening small food stalls too, or setting up some stalls in the market. I hope these give you some inspirations. ^_^

Hello my friend. Your skill being a "software developer" is a good asset in you that is really useful in your online business. I don't have that. Am only an article writer but competition is very high. I have no capital investments to have an online store or whatever. I am not sure if my application for an online job approved. Anyway, thanks for the concern and respond. Mobhomeir here..

I do agree that your good English can help you in getting some income online. I have read many successful stories about working online, perhaps by blogging or writing. Maybe you can learn to earn from blogging, I have heard some really did well in blogging. How about giving English tuition? Is tuition high demand in your community?

Hiya Mob! Imagine this, you are not alone in this world who have these kinds of problem. I know I have a job but my salary is not even enough for our basic needs. I also have a lot of debts that should be paid. So I have to work double time. Remember Zayzay, my son who had sleep apnea? We just did not lost our faith and hope. And the answer came just in time. Don't lose hope and I am sure your faith is stronger than mine. I hope this can help. http://www.wishuponahero.com/ I have an account with this site. I tried to a lot of times to get assistance during the needless time with my son. I wasn't successful with that site though. I tried a lot of other sites, people and institution. But I believe, with those sites, people and institution, the prayers reached Heavens and make His move to give us what we just needed at that time. Bless you...

I am not ashamed either. Why should you be? These are very tough times and you are not alone in your struggles. All you can do is the best you can. As far as the debt..well...it's hard to pay debt if you don't have the means. I would concentrate on the moment and start there.

Poor and in debt is bad for one's life. - Control spending money and saving is essential.
Ya being poor and in debts is hard to one's life.Personally i good some bad examples of relatives who are in debts because of bad habits like blowing off credit card and huge debts in cards and gambling also.Even small lottery like few bucks can cause thousands of dollar in debts and such.Hence personally i cap my credit card expenditure and avoided any expensive non essential goods.

Hiya sis! Yeah, Martin should not be ashamed of his current status. Just like one of the songs I still remember, "Tawanan mo ang iyong problema" because if we are going to be so serious about our problems, we will get older faster than our age. Time will come for us. We should never lose faith and hope. See what happened to us with Zay?
