will less eating of rice make you lose weight?

I remember that I had done a no rice diet years back, and remember i indeed lost some great deal of weight... Well, the weight crept back, though.. haha now that i am eating rice. what do you think of this diet? Have you tried this diet and do you think this works?! Your thoughts please...

Rice can really add weight to a person. I had tried omitting rice from my diet before and coupled with walking exercises, I lose a lot in a month.

I think it does, I cut down on my rice and it does help with carbs.. But you do have to work out :-). Just not eating rice wont help. I need to get back in working out as well, as soon as the weather gets nice, i'm on it lol

Well i dont do diets if i gain a pound or two i dont want.I just try to get more veggies and fruits in my diet and excercise harder.Diets never work because you always gain the weight back.

hi chiyosan... One way is to eat a healthy diet on a regular basis with a sufficient portion, but mush be balanced with plenty of fruit and vegetable consumption, because the average slim person eat more than one serving of fruit and eat more fiber and less fat than the fat and multiply drinking water and exercise regularly and if possible free of sugar.
