Radio One has Festivals throughout the summer and, apparently there is a two-day one that is coming to Carlisle. Amongst the artistes is Lady Gaga and the festival itself is free.
Are we going?
Mmmm, I'll have to think about that one. I'd prefer it if were Magnum.
Haha!
It's going to be held at Carlisle Airport which isn't really an airport at all but a big expanse of land. Can you imagine it being staged at Heathrow? At least they've got PASSENGER planes taking off from there, no such luck in this backwater!

Hi Janey..Some of her music is ok but you have to admit that she is soft as a grape. Her latest appearance at the grammys when she showed up in an egg being carried by 6 guys was just too funny for words. They say she did it so as to avoid interviews because she was going to be performing that night and wanted to save her voice...Ah, ok...She is a crazy as a loon!!!

I thought it was the Grammys.
Haha!
I know the stunt in question though. Not right in the head is she although she's brilliant at courting publicity. She's get a gold medal if it was an Olympic sport lol.

Hi Janey,
I can't stand Lady Gaga, so Radio One can keep her, lol! I don't go to any pop Festival as I find them too noisey, ratther liten to the planes flying, I live far from Heathrow airport but close to Gatwick airport. I will be going to Glastonbury but NOT to the festival, I go there to chill out and get my enegy back, lovely peace ful place when the festival is not there, lol!

Glastonbury has become far too commercialised (the festival) and I, too would love to go when it's not on lol.

Hmm, I think I would give Lady Gaga a miss thanks!
There are always pretty cool festivals going on around here, but they usually cost a fair bit. The last one I went to was last October a couple of hours drive up the coast and it rained all weekend! It was not the best weekend, but we still made the most of it and had fun. The camping bit sucked though as I had to dry everything out once we got home which took two days!
You and your Magnum! You get a mention in in nearly every discussion!

I can't help it. A local Festival would be ideal for them. People would come and say "who?" then go away and think, "wow, that was brilliant..where's the next gig?"
Well, I can dream.
As for Lady GaGa..Bob "God" Catley has more talent in his little finger than she has in her whole body. He's been around for about 100 years, how long will she last?

Here ,a small city that was conferred the title"the famous historical and cultural city" by state in 2008,there are occasionally some gig or the like .Most of the singers are known throughout the country. What they sing are usually popular songs whose tones are either lowly or hoarse. The admission to it is a few hundred yuan(RMB).I don't like the popular song,in normal times if I come across this sort of programme on TV I am sure to change the channel at once ,I know better than to spend so much on it.
