which do you think is right? Being a housewife and watch your kids grow or practicing your field of study and let a nanny watch your kids at home?

I don't think that there is one that is more right than the other. We all have our own choices and views, which will affect this situation. But at the end of the day, I don't think that one is better than the other. You can be a professional and see your children grow. Some prefer not working and just staying home.

It really depends on you. But the thing is, if I'd ever get a family some day, I might still opt to have a career even though I would have kids. I wouldn't choose a nanny though. It must be someone I know like a relative or parents. The thing is I do love my career and I see lots of room for improvement as an individual. Still, I can't say what my final decision would be when the time comes. It would really depend on the whole situation.

I'd prefer to be a a professional than being a house wife. I dont want to be dependent on my future husband. I want to share with all the financial problems.

this is a question with a non-categorical answer. for me, there's no outright, right or wrong answer here. it would depend on the demands required of you by your kids and by your work. if you think that your kids need more attention and guidance as they grow, then perhaps you may opt to focus more on raising them by stay at home. you should do this though only if you really would like to. if it is not your will, and if you are just forced to; well, most likely you will regret it and it will reflect on how you will take care of your kids. if you choose though to go on with your career, make sure you are good at juggling your responsibilities at home and at work. having a nanny makes a mom's work a little easier but it will not take away your whole responsibility as a mom. some mothers also prefer to work not only because they want to make use of what they have learned from school, they also opt to work because through it, they are able to help their husbands by chipping in to their budget. life isn't easy and nowadays it has become a lot tighter. financial help and support from the wife to feed the kids and to ensure that a brighter future would be made available for them is also one reason why most mom's deem it necessary for them to still be part of the workforce. As for me, there's nothing wrong with working so long as you are not forgetting your primary role as a mom.

I want to be a housewife in the future, stay in the house taking care of my husband and children. That's the life I want. But I also want to do my job. I love working. I think I just have to apply for a part-time job.

For me, I would rather choose to be a housewife and watch my kids grow day by day. That's the most rewarding part of a woman's life. I would love to see my kids learn and explore the world. I would like to be there whenever they need me. But of course this is always a case to case basis. What if your husband can't sustain your family's financial needs? So you have to pursue your career as a professional and help your husband. Some women really wants to pursue their career and be known as a professional. I think it's their sense of achievement. Whatever we choose it depends on our self fulfillment. Being any of the two is nice. But having it both is awesome. I hope I can do it both. =)

It is a dilemma. Being a housewife and watch kids grow is very good. But, to be a professional is also a good choice. It is a pity to ignore this chance. The best solution, maybe, if woman can work and earning at home. So, at the same time, can watch kids. Yes, maybe this is the best solution ??? A good discussion, friend.. Have a nice day...

It really depends if my husband can sustain our family needs. If his earnings is not enough for us I will also go to work and hire a nanny for our kids. But I will make sure that I have enough time for my family especially for our kids.

i would probably choose to be a housewife if ever i get married. i like to see my kids grow, guide them, prepare everything that my husband and kids need, cook for them then take care of them, women are made to be the queen of the house and queen don't go out and work, the king do the works and the queen take care of everything
