Yesterday, she went out to apply for a job and she just suddenly decided not to go home anymore because she said she already have a job. She told me I shouldn't worry because she can already manage and that she's already safe. No need to worry because she can take care of her self already, thinking in mind that she already know a lot of things in this big city. I was furious, that was a rush decision and just tell me not to worry. WOW! what the... but then, I just said go home tonight, let's talk then you can work, even if you'd stay out with your employer if that's an in-house job. She wants a job so bad that she desperately accept so low salary offer. It doesn't even compensate for her efforts in college and her degree. Wow! that bad! good thing though she was realized the reality of it and didn't sign the contract and go back home. . . did you have the same experience with me or my sister? you are free to share...

My dear friend, from the time i was born i was already sheltered and people would tell me i don't need to be an employee and find an employer. But when i graduated from college i was so adamant in finding a job but i was held back by my brother and told me to work at home in our company and i didn't have any choice but to follow him. Then i was too bored, i decided to study law to get away from home. When i failed the bar exam i decided to find a job and nobody can stop me at that time. The salary was too low and my brother laughed at me but he allowed me to be independent and learn life like that. But i did learn and now i know how to bargain for the salary.

yeah, i thought I should let her do what she really wants just for her to learn about life in reality. she might just think that I am so possessive or overprotective so I would let her be as of the moment. But she's always welcome to come back to me and ask for help. I am still her brother. I just want her to learn about life and it somehow cruel and overwhelming reality. . .

@scarface, i started being my own boss. I was born like that already. I got bored and wanted to venture out and don't want to be in the family business. Tried it, experienced it and now i'm back to being my own boss.
