the curse of tippecanoe

i encountered this subject on a blog. it says that it is a curse for those POTUS who got elected in years ending in zero (0). it's a superstition allegedly given to william henry harrison by a chieftain after the battle of tippecanoe. certain incidents are credited to this curse. for those who are aware of it, do you think it is real, or mere coincidence?

Though there are situations that fall under this in US, I don't want to believe that it is true. And if the curse is really true they say that Ronald Reagan had already broke the curse since he survive the assassination attempt to him. Our president today was elected in 2010, the year ended in zero, though we haven't had any president elected in year ending zero aside from Noynoy, I hope that the curse is not applicable here in our country.
