Billboards Ads on busy thoroughfares...

Hi guys, I think you have noticed too that the ads business is booming again especially in busy metropolis.Do you think these giant companies employing the services of these advertisers really gain or help improve their sales.For me I think it does because they paid huge fees for these ads, and they will not invest on their services if they were losing. Before these large billboards were not allowed especially during the typhoon season because of the strong winds and also the unpredictable earthquake, but now they are celebrating again because ads are sprouting like mushrooms even competing how big the company wants for their product endorsement. These ads became an eyesore to others, some drivers were also distracted while driving sometimes causing vehicular accidents and traffic.Not to mention the damages to properties and human life in case it falls down due to strong winds or earthquakes. I think our congress should enact a law prohibiting the construction of large billboard ads in the metropolis area and must have standardization with regards to sizes. Any opinion my fellow mylotters.
