The other day, I recieved my first email that was claiming to be from someone in Libya. They were asking me to share my bank information with them, so that they could transfer their wealth out of the country. I am not sure what is worse: the fact that there are people who jump on every crisis to try to con people, or the fact that there are people who actually fall for this type of scam. Needless to say, I deleted the email without replying to them. After all, if they actually had money, they would have already gotten it and themselves out of Libya; they would definitely not be emailing me, someone that they did not know to help them int eh matter.

It can be very frustrating to receive such emails and SMS... Recently, a friend of mine received a text message from Sony Ericsson saying that 'you have won 300,000pounds in our lucky draw; please provide your account details for the transfer or contact us online'... It is unbelievable that people try to make fool out of people. i hope everyone is aware of all such types of scam after so many scams hitting everywhere.
