hi! I am fond of playing games at my pc, but now a days every good games like GTA IV, Crysis etc requires a graphic card to be installed. I have been playing games like GTA san andreas,Prince of persia: the two thrones, without installing any graphics card and they both run quite well on my pc. I have no idea at all about graphics card, and how to judge the performance of a graphic card, what to look for when i go to buy a graphic card etc. I want to play recent games like GTA IV and other similar games with good graphic quality. My pc's configuration is as follow: Motherboard- Intel DG41RQ Ram 1 GB Processor- Intel Core 2 DUO I am ready to spend around 200$ for the graphic card, plzz suggest me some good cards.

It seems you are barely hitting the minimum requirements for these games with RAM and CPU. I personally would invest in a PC upgrade, but if there is an existing budget then maybe you could limit your computer processes while playing. I remember on my old Emachines computer I had to eliminate processes for save CPU/RAM for my game play. I was also in a similar case such as yourself when I wanted to play games that required better graphics performance so I invested in a graphics card. It was the Nvidia 5200 FX card. That was many years ago. I found a good card "ATI Radeon HD 5570" which requires 1GB of RAM and suggests 400 watt power supply. I'm not sure what your power supply limits are so you might want to check that out. You may want to invest some of your funds into more RAM to be safe if you're thinking of getting this card.

First thing is to look up some reviews or like gpu chart on tom's hardware. Also it seems that you don't really have all that good hardware otherwise so there's the bottleneck issue. I would recommend searching ncix tech tips on youtube.
