Although Ubuntu is a free service, and I appreciate their sincerity,in several places it still needs to improve a lot to catch up with the Microsoft Operating System (OS). For example, when you use a Reliance Data Card in India with Ubuntu, it is truly a hard job to stay online. Also, sorting in dta sheet is another big headache. However, I appreciate their effort, and I am sure in the coming days, Ubuntu will only win the market, because common people will adopt it more as it is free. What do you feel?

Hi pras, We have been implementing Linux OS in some of our systems across the offices where we are the IT specialists. One inherent advantage of this operating system is its invulnerability to common viruses that usually attack MS-Op Systems. However, we observed that there are still some issues to it. Like you said, we also experienced the same headache. Added to that are printer supports, demanding hardware resources and slow execution time, especially on older systems. For now, we stick to MS-OS in our mission-critical systems inspite of ongoing virus and malware threats.

In my own opinion, use linux OS if you want your computer to be virus-free computer. Based on my observation, Linux OS is powerful in servers not in stand alone computers because in servers it is virus-free, that is the one we consider. Lots of people giving a big headache by the virus. while in Microsoft recommend it to use for stand alone computers because all games will run on it.
