Like everyones heard the saying time flies when your having fun and people don't really comment and stuff on these sayings but I think it's time to. So what do you think of these sayings?? I like them because there very true and easy to remember and the same opposite like time doesn't fly when your not having fun but I don't think that one is a saying. So I want to know what you think of them!!

I think they are all very true. If I think of all my favorites...like favorite nights out, favorite trips, favorite parties, etc etc, they all seem to have gone by so fast! I wish the fun times could be the ones that lasted longer instead of the other way around! I like all those sayings because they make you realize the positive things in your life and most people can relate to them.

Cool I never heard of that one before but it's not really the same as it's not to do with time.

they are very true if you are enjoying what you are doing or with a company of people that you love and enjoy being with it seems that the clock is moving too fast that you won't be able to mind the time that you have spent. Whilst if you don't like what you do or the people that you are with it seems that you like to let the clocks hand tick faster. My two cents.

It is very true. I noticed that before and it feels even stronger to me since my baby was born 6 months ago. I always feel like he was just born yesterday, I wonder where the time went? He went from so tiny tiny to a little monster now. Time flies! Besides that, everytime when we have fun, it always finished quick but I don't feel like when I have to put up with something, it goes quick, do you understand what I mean?

Yes I can see the image even though I never had a baby and I am still in school everyone wonders where the time goes to except a few who always have enough time and think there is too much time.

These sayings are so true that it's hard to add anything because they reflect perfectly the reality;when you have a good time you don't feel when time passes, like when you are in a place you like and with people you like, and on the contrary, time passes agonizingly slow when you're not in a pleasant situation or environment.I think that in general we need to create moments that make us feel that time is flying every day, because the unhappy moments always come unexpectedly,so we must do our best to make time fly as much as possible.

You are so right there about everything you say. I know most of it but yet I do I knew when I was asking the discussion and I know after reading all the responses with the same thing in them.

i think that is true! time is always faster when you are having fun, when you enjoy the company of your friends. In my case and work, time flies fast when we are busy in our area. It is as if we look at the clock and the hands have moved and we are still very busy putting our noses to the things that need to be done.

I like em also. They are so true. I notice when I am bored times just drags on and on. but when I am having fun time goes way to fast. So I try not to sit around and do nothing. Time is so important.

I use the time flies saying a lot. I find it to be so true though! I adapt it to situations quite often as well. For example time not only flies when you're having fun but it also flies when you're busy at work, lol. So I'm always coming up with "time flies" sayings! lol

well not only when you're having fun, its equally true for when you're working alot and working hard for something. These days i don't go out or talk to people, i've been working continuously with a goal in mind. But when i see how the times passing by, how my parents are getting older day by day and i dont get to spend time with them, i feel terrible. But ones gotta do what hes gotta do .

Yes. Well if your having fun working upwards your goal and for boring I mean more like really hard homework that you have to do or a really boring movie you have to watch and take notes. I like time flying but not too fast.

I like this saying because it depicts reality. As I was telling my husband just a week ago how time flies so fast. It seems that we only celebrated New Year's eve yesterday and yet here comes December soon. it isn't that we are always having fun but because we are often busy with everything that 24 hours a day is not enough. You have not done much yet but the day is seems over already. It feels like I was just carrying my baby on my womb but now she's already trying to climb everything her hands and feet can can grab and climb to.

I don't see Christmas as yesterday because it doesn't feel like it but today seems like last week which seems like the week before. Yes as soon as I said fun and got answers with busy makes the time fly too I relised I forgot busy. Time flies when I'm busy or having fun. With all the mylot community a mistake you make will be relised and pointed out to you very quickly.

Time flies so fast. I once said this was only because we had so many things to do with the same amount of time. I could remember some years ago, when the sun sets, I have done almost everything I have to do in the day. However, as I grow older, I have more and more things left to do at the end of each day. How could this be? A friend then told me that the number of this you are to do increases as you go older and so I believed him. A few weeks ago, I read an article that says, the earthquake in Japan shifted the axis of the earth making shortening the time by a few seconds. The earthquake in Chile did more, shortening time even a lot lesser. I now am in confusion too

Well I don't think as you get older you have more things to do. Well it's denfinetly true in one sense you have more things to do as an adult than a child but not more things to do when you are an older adult than a younger adult. And if the thing about the earthquake is true days will get shorter and shorter until there is none left!

That saying is very true, specially to busy people. Because of our busyness, we forget the time. But for people who are not that busy, it seems that time is very slow, specially those at the office just doing nothing much. They just keep on glancing at the clock , to see if it's already dismissal time.

Yes you are very right. When I have school and everything is busy I complain about not having enough time but when I have holidays from school I never no what to do and lie around all day and feel bad after because I was wasting my day.
