Have you lived ling enough in your neighborhood? If yes... Have you noticed any changes in the neighborhood already? Was there the same friendly faces or you seem to not know anyone anymore?
I remember in ouplaces that as a child we used to know everyone around... All familiar faces... But i noticed that a lot has changed allready and familiar faces gone... Is it th same in your neghborhood?

I have lived in the same neighborhood since I was three, and the same house since I was four (which would add up to over twenty years). It has definitely changed a great deal. When we first moved there, it was almost in the middle of nowhere with the nearest grocery store being twenty minutes away. Now, a nearby town has grown around it on three sides and there are shopping centers literally right down one of the streets containing one of the entrances. The neighborhood itself has also doubled in size. There's the "newer" half and the "older" half. I have actually watched several of the new streets' development over the years. One of them was right off of the street that I live on.
The biggest change, I would say, is that a lot of the people who lived in the neighborhood when we moved there are no longer there. We have managed, however, to remain pretty close to the ones who have stayed. It has also remained pretty close-knit even with all the new people with everyone aware of each other's presence and helping each other out. Everyone I know who has lived here for any among of time has said they absolutely loved it. I can see why as it is a very nice place to life - it's unincorporated meaning it's outside the city limits of any town, so we don't have to follow all the silly laws that some of the cities will implement, Everyone has about an acre of land - not too much, not too little - and the houses come in all different styles; no two look alike like in other neighborhoods.
I can even walk to my church if I allow an hour (which is nice on warm mornings). It is a great place and I will be sad to leave when I get my own place and look forward to visiting whenever I can.

I've lived too long enough in my neighborhood that I've grown tired of the faces of people there.
There were a couple of new faces but they're not too friendly for a new-comer.

I am 8 months long living here in my apartment. So far, inside our 4 door apartment compound, I am familiar with my neighbors. Same is through with the usual store that I go outside our compound. Although, I am more familiar with my neighbors from my previous apartment.

When I was in my old home, I knew everyone around my neighborhood too. We used to have fun and everyone back then felt like a big family but after we moved things haven't been the same. I never wanted to leave my old friends but we had to move and it broke my heart =( After that I've never even tried talking to my neighbors and I'll pretty much not even recognize them if they walk pass by me. I do know 1 or 2 of them though. Actually I'm good this way too.
