I just got my car back from the body shop because my drivers side headlight was broken and even the glass was broken. The body shop fixed the car and put in a new headlight but said now the light will not go off when you turn the car lights off. The other side does but not the one they just replaced. Does any one know what might be wrong with it. Thanks in Advance.

I can have an educated guess & hope it helps! Can you tell me some more car details & I might then be able to look it up & confirm that I'm correct? Make, model, year of manufacture, engine capacity & any engine or model numbers would be good, please! What may be the case is that your headlights are computer controlled via a Body Control Module (or similar wording as appropriate to the Motor Trade in your country). When your headlight was smashed, it possibly blew the driver inside of that computer. Most body repair shops aren't too clued up with these computers, so rather than trying to get a second hand one or new one in & hit you with the repair bill, they hard-wired your new headlight, possibly through a relay & left it like that. Much cheaper, but it won't do what the other one does. If it were me, I'd be happy to leave it as is, unless you're selling the car, in which case, I'd go into U-Pull-It & get a second hand BCM & fit that one. Before going there, I'd have a look first at the colour & part numbers of your old unit & make sure the replacement one is exactly the same. If you lived near where I do, I would repair the driver inside of your old one for you. Mates rates, of course
