Who's going to win the latest Ameican Idol ?

I think Pia Toscano is going to win this season, since whenever she performs, she does it really well. But all the remaining contestants are really talented too, so it is anybody's game. Who is your bet ?

I was rooting for Pia to win also; but, sadly she was voted off!!! I was really upset when they called her name to go!!! She was on Regis & Kelly this morning & it appears she has been offered a recording contract. She didn't reveal very much, but did indicate that she hadn't signed it just yet. According to Eonline, she is now dating Mark Ballas of Dancing With The Stars fame. She did say she was upset when she was booted, but now realizes all the wonderful things coming out of being on the show. Kelly pointed out that many of the very talented contestants who are booted off early seem to go on to do BETTER than the winners!!! I certainly pray this is the case for Pia!!! Her preferred genre isn't wildly popular right now, but her voice is heavenly!!!!

I personally LOVE her style of music , but don't see the younger generation buying a lot of it!!! I'd really love to see her make it huge...like becoming the next Jennifer Hudson!!!!

Yes, sooner or later she'd become a big star anyway even though she didn't win..since she really has a great voice. Maybe she will bring back fame for the big ballads.

Nw that the competition is down to Lauren and Scotty I think Lauren deserves to win more since her voice is better and she can sing any song- she'll be a big star someday..

Yes, I choose Lauren over Scotty to- but I really wanted Haley to reach the top 2, and James too- Pia was the most deserving though. Anyway, I am not that excited anymore for the finale, but still gonna watch it- maybe Steven Tyler might perform.

I thought Pia was gone, or am I mistaking her for someone else? My favorite this yr. is Scotty Mcleary. For someone who can sing Country he rocks. But personally there are some Great talents again this season which is Good. Just wondering in the next couple of weeks who will continue to shine the most.

I think you are talking about Thia, she's Filipino-Japanese, the 16 year-old...yeah, unfortunately she is gone.. I think that all of them are really talented too, and different people shine each week- they just take turns.

Initially, I think its gonna be Pia Toscano, but now that it seems that American got some problem with hearing and need some hearing aid, I really hope they vote wisely. I've not been watching American Idol since the day Pia got eliminated so I'm not sure if who is the current strong contender. But I somehow think Lauren Alaina will win because I feel that she just got the x-factor and like-ability. So may the best contestant win:)

Yeah, I think it was a really big mistake that they voted Pia out.. well, it's their loss anyway. I sure hope they vote a good one this time too- I am not really sure who will win now since they are all good. I like James the most now.

Hi Lady1993, American idol is not a singing contest anymore. It is popularity contest. That such a pity. I lost interest in American Idol since then...

I do agree with you on that... I was quite shocked when some of the more talented people were in the bottom three. Maybe they are just voting for the contestant who's in their hometown, so the bugger state wins.

I like Haley too- especially if she chooses the right songs that really compliment her voice. Lauren has also improved and she can sing anything, unfortunately she doesn't have much confidence in her self.
