i went to the mall yesterday morning, near at the mall, i saw a blind man playing his guitar while singing, and there's a question came to my mind, what is the most difficult in a human, being a deaf or being a blind.i think its more difficult to be blind than to be deaf because blind couldn't see the beauty of the world while deaf could see it and feel it with calm and tranquility because deaf cant hear anything. what is the most difficult, being a blind or being a deaf???why?

I believe being Blind is the worse, most specially to those who got blind at the late age. though people claim senses gets higher once the eye sight is gone, it's just doesn't cut it because they need devices to be able to see things but for being deaf i think people can actually talked through SIGN language and there are people who can do that, even my brother.

I also think being blind is worse than being deaf because there are so many beautiful things to be seen in this world that blind people can't enjoy, sadly.

I would say being blind is more difficult. Deaf people can read lips, use ASL and they even have all sorts of implants to help you hear. Like you said, blind people can't see the world around them. I would also think it's more dangerous to be blind if you are out in the everyday world. Of course, I think either blind or deaf is difficult and I know how hard it must be to be either one.

I agree with you that its worse to be blind because life is more difficult. It is truth that you can`t hear that beautiful music which is all around us but when you are blind you live in a darkness i think nothing is worse than to be blind.

I agree both of them, be a blind is much more difficult. I cannot imagine if i cannot see. I love the beauty of the world. But if i cannot hear, I can communication with others by hands.

Being blind, for sure. I'm both hearing and visually impaired, but I need to have my vision. I'm blind in my left eye so whatever vision I have in my right eye I cherish. A few years ago, perhaps 7 years now...I had a cataract removed. Just before I got it removed, I could hardly see at all, it was like almost a white blindness and everything blended together, I could barely read. I was so scared, freaking out, crying, thinking that my surgery was going to take my vision away, oh gosh, I was such a mess. I think it was that time in my life when I realised I'd rather have my sight over my hearing if given a choice. Thankfully, my surgery went well, and I ended up with better vision!

Being blind would be more difficult. Not being able to see what's around you would have to be scary. I think starting life blind would be less difficult then going blind when you are older. At least starting out blind, you really don't have the opprotunity to know what it's like to see. You learn from the beginning. Going blind later. You have to learn another way of life. Best Wishes!

i think being blind is more difficult then of being deaf.as blind can not see anything and just have to feel what others tell him.and his like becomes full of darkness. and deaf person can atlest see the world and he can do the leap reading so he can also undstand what other want to tell him.
