I don't think modern gadgets control our life

hi, yes you're right,the benefits of it is used for our daily needs in our life,modern gadgets have a great role on our life because it will make our life lighten and easy in terms of work.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say they control our lives but I do know some people that depend on their technology pretty heavily. I worry sometimes that there are too many people that don't know how to function without their techno gadgets. I was in a store once that refused to sell anything because their computers were down. They had no backup plan to function without their technology, so their business was essentially shut down without it. Not good. I look at technology as a convenience, but I also know how to function and get things done the old fashioned way. I don't believe things should come to a screeching halt just because the modern gadgetry happen to fail. Everybody should have a backup plan. Technology is great and I wouldn't want to be without it but I don't ever want to get to the point where I'd be helpless without it.

I agree...I think that gadgets can bring is comfort and entertainment. I also think it is in the power of those using them as to how much "control" they have.

I don't really have any say on this. I am in part an illiterate to modern gadgets, so I maybe belong to some people who would say: arrrghhhh every now and then dealing with it. I just can say that it helps but it also makes people use their own capacities lesser.

Yes sir I am agree with you modern gadgets not control our life everyone is depend upon how can handle it. Like mobile, mobile is a nice tool or element for communication but some people misused this tool. Like vehicle is a good for saving the time but people not used properly they left both the hands and drive the vehicle and accident occured then we cannot blame the vehicle so whose criticize the role of those gadgets they should know the use of gadgets first. Nice discussion.

You watch enough TV, you begin to think that 'having a cellphone/digital-camera/whatever' is as common-, as 'everybody has one'-as ... well ... a TV! But I agree ... mainly, I think 'anywhere one communicates from' should be as steady a place as 'where one lives'

Yes modern gadgets have made life more convient. But they will only control your life if you allow them to. We can't forget how we got by without them. Take cell phones for example. I see too many people that ultimately rely on them and probably wouldn't know how to function without one. Yes, they are nice to have. They make life convient but they are not a neccessity in life. Up until cell phones came around people lived life just fine. I used to have a cell phone up until it got to the point that I couldn't afford it anymore, so I got rid of it. I have lived my life just fine without it for 6 months now.

I can agree because the gadgets were intended to make for convenience not obsession. We should not forget our old ways because the gadgets today come and go and what we skillfully learned to use/do in the past do at times replace and help when we no longer can use the gadgets. This reminds me of the convenient solar powered flashlights and lights. We should not forget that candles at times can also be useful. There may be a time when it is too dark and gloomy that the solar powered gadget will not work.

yes it depends on the person who uses it... however the gadgets might not change the way it is made... but the person change for the better or worse...

Allowing gadgets to control our life is not good we must control thier uses and it were made for making life easier but they are making it more typical in search of other things for that gadgets.any addon or such like that.to make it look good . and having bad imprssion on our studies.
