Earth to Harry Reid....

The criminal, Harry Reid whined and complained recently about how Boehner is listening too much to the Tea Parties.
Earth to Harry Reid, come in oh corrupt one!
You see, elected officials who aren't chained down by their lords and masters at the party offices do this thing called, "listening to their constituents". I understand why that would confuse Reid, as his only constituents are the leadership of the DNC, and whoever pays the best bribes... or offers him kickbacks in exchange for influence peddling... or whoever just hates the US as much as he does.
See, only the people of Ohio's 8th congressional district got to vote for him, and he is the voice of those people. Like it or not, Mr. Reid, but the majority of the people who voted in that district did so because they wanted their representative to LISTEN, not to just get bought off.
So, Mr. Reid, when you are whining and complaining about House Speaker Boehner listening to his constituents, you are only voicing your contempt for them, and for the U.S. Constitution.
So get over your sorry self, and maybe you'll start actually thinking about the state that you're supposed to be representing, instead of just resenting Nevada all together.

Except the Tea party are a pressure group listening to them is not listening to his constituents but to one small group within them. Thus to listen too much to them is undemocratic

Sorry, but the Tea Parties who elected him were in his district voting for him. There is no national tea party, there are only local groups that support conservative issues. The Tea Partiers in Ohio worked to help get Boehner elected now Reid simply resents that.
On the other hand, Reid is the best bit of scum money can buy.

The tea party did not elect him, it may come as a surprise to you, but the electorate did

Both, the tea partiers in his district helped him get elected. This may be news to YOU but tea partiers are people too. Sorry that hurts to hear. :~D

As long as he actually IS listening to his constituents and not the newly elected tea partiers in the House, that's fine. I guess his next election will tell the story since the tea party has already vowed to put up a candidate to challenge him in the primary. The tea party voters certainly are part of the electorate but they're not the WHOLE electorate, in fact their approval is falling nationally.
