DOG or CAT? which is better to PET?

I living alone on my apartment. and its just too boring being alone in an isolated 4 walls room. one of my friend suggest that I should buy or adopt a pet. any opinion about whom should I pick? a cat or a dog? thanks guys!

Well both can be loving but as i have only experience with dogs, I recommend them. But I have been with cats before and some breeds are really affectionate.

My friends says dogs is really loving, and they usually wiggles their tails as they welcomes you when you came home. as for cats they also do tickles around your feet. Interactions really matters. but can you do a walk with your cat? just like walking with your dogs? thanks! =)

haven't seen someone walk a cat but cats usually wander themselves without supervision.

for me I would recommend dogs,, the man's best friend,,I dunno but I dont know how to Interact with cats,, Unlike with dogs they are easy to understand and very sweet and useful,, ^_^

awesome opinion. some says dogs usually breaks things by biting it as cats do scratches on doors and flooring. maybe its all about how to discipline your own pet. Thanks for the insight dude. =)

Since you are living alone, perhaps a cat will be a better choice. Because you shall have a walk with a dog everyday so that the dog will feel better. Besides, the dog may behave badly if you are not at home. Whereas a cat can stand the loneliness. You don't have to acompany your cat all the time. You just need to feed it and play with it sometimes, it will be fine. I love China

i would say fish in a colorful decorative aquarium. is it part of the choices? hahaha, just kidding. i prefer dogs, well it may not be as independent as cats, but dogs are adorable and the true mans best friends.
